Small detailed car to keep the toddlers busy. Pulls back so it can drive across the floor at a decent speed.

This may well be the nicest model in my collection. To begin with, the Lotus Emira is perhaps my favorite super sports car. The model has pretty much all the details. The silvered side mirrors fold in. The massive brake discs are clearly visible and show some detail. The interior, in black, is meticulously, thoroughly detailed. I guess I could go on, but you get the picture. I'm delighted to add this neat sports car to my collection.

I'm quite satisfied with the quality of this die-cast cart. The body is completely metal with an excellent paint job. The interior and bottom are made of high quality plastic. The interior details are realistic. The doors and trunk can be opened, however the hood cannot, despite the fact that the listing indicates it can. This toy came with three button batteries pre-installed (make sure to remove the plastic film to activate them), the batteries power the lights and sounds that are activated when the door is opened, and when the hood or top of the car is pushed, it also honks when the steering wheel is pressed. It is a 1/24 scale, which is medium in size, making it an excellent toy for kids, especially because it has a push back feature, as well as a great die-cast car display for those who collect them, however, because it does not come with a stand, it must be displayed as a free-standing toy car.

I am a diecast car collector. I have the Lotus Elan and the Elise, so when I saw this one, I knew it had to be part of my collection. I am very pleased with this replica and based on the pictures I have seen of the real car the attention to detail is really well done. This car is definitely worthy of a spot on the display shelf.I ordered the gray color because I was planning to repaint it any way and the gray is like primer. After opening it up though it will stay this "Nardo Gray" color. It looks perfect on the car. The doors open very smoothly and the fitment is decent. The interior details are also very well done. I will add some color to the seat belts and a gearshift, but otherwise the interior is nice. The engine in the back is also well detailed and looks great. It has nice real rubber tires and replica brakes and calipers. The sounds I will disconnect, and I will not need the friction motor, but they all worked well.In summary I can definitely recommend this diecast lotus replica. If you give it as a toy be prepared to cringe every time you hear it crash. If you add it to your collection for a display, I do not think you will be disappointed in anything.....

I am a diecast car model collector and I love to collect models of luxury and sports cars which are beautiful built and detailed.Also, because I am not sure if I would be able to afford them in real ;)This model is a perfect replica of Sports car Lotus Emira.It came in a nice packaging box.The size of the car model is perfect.The body is complete metal with meticulous paint work.The interior and exterior of the car are quite detailed and crisp.The doors and trunk open easily, but hood was a bit tight.The lights and sound of the car are same as that of any other die cast model, except the honk sound.The pullback feature is also as expected.Overall, this is a exquisite replica model which is a great addition to the collection. Also, a nice toy for kids.Would recommend it.

This model is higher quality than I was expecting. It matches First Edition car almost perfectly, only deviating in a few small areas. I chose blue, which matches Seneca Blue well. Paintwork and decals are spot-on.Specifically, almost all of the interior and exterior details are spot-on. The only issues I can spot are, there's no gear lever, the center console doesn't have the pass-through area. Wheels don't have silver accents and the brake calipers are red instead of yellow. That wheels and brakes can be excused, as some very early First Edition cars had all-black wheels and/or red calipers.Both doors and the rear hatch open, revealing a surprising amount of detail inside. I wish the frunk opened, but oh well.This does have batteries in it and plays sounds. They're frankly very annoying, sound terrible, and entirely generic. They play when the front of the car is pressed down, when the doors are opened, and when the steering wheel is pressed. Since it's easy not to turn that feature on, I won't complain too much, but parents might get annoyed very quickly. Another position on the switch illuminates the headlights and taillights, which frankly looks great.The box states this is officially licensed by Lotus, so props there.Aside from the box, no display stand is included.It's a very good model, and looks absolutely great on a shelf. I have only small complaints, and even those are just from the difficulties of making a scaled-down model. While I wouldn't recommend it as a toy, except for older or respectful children, it's very good as a display piece.
