Is there strap at bottom of these to go under sole of foot so they stay in place when moving about?

No, there isn't I'm afraid. The cover was ok but did slip around (I kept having to straighten it). Be aware too that it doesn't cover the whole foot... The for area isn't covered so wear black shoes underneath them
