Had this book years ago. Nice to have it in my collection again.

worthwhile addition to your learning repetoire
Includes a good mix of strumming and fingerpicking blues for beginner to intermediate. Probably a bit short on more advanced blues solos if you're that standard.

Easy book to learn from.
I owned this book in 1987 but lost it some how in my last move last year. I had learned quite a few good little songs from this one book and found it really easy to follow back then. A really good book for beginners and anyone else really who fancies a go at finger picking. Some good songs in it and some pretty well known ones. I was pretty upset when I realised I'd lost it recently as after a long break from guitar i really wanted to get back into it again and had forgotten a lot of the tunes, could only remember how to play the beginnings of some of them. Can't tell you how pleased I was to find it still available and didn't hesitate to buy it. I'm so glad I got it back. If your serious about getting into fingerpicking buy it it's an excellent book to learn from.

Good but get the CD from Russ Shipton
This series of books is excellent for beginners to intermediates. One fault with this particular book is that the example tunes are not that well known, so I would advise getting the CD from Russ Shipton's website so that you can listen and then follow.
