Soobest Dementia Clocks for Seniors, 7” Digital Date Clock Large Display

Yes this is fantastic. But it does have one major design flaws, the function buttons are all on the back making it difficult to shut off alarms without removing it from the wall. the wall mount also muffles the sound. So why did I not send it back? Great clock with great displays with large letters and digits and easy setup. So what did I do. I bought 4 rubber spacers about 1 inch from the wall so I could touch the dimmer control to dim and also shut off the alarms that only stay on 1-2 minutes anyway. Sound is great. However, get the volume settings down or you may have to remove from the wall. I glued two rubber spacers using gorilla super glue directly to the drywall anchors and drywall and let it set for 24 hours before installing 300 series stainless steel flat hd beveled screws into the rubber with an ID of 3/16" and OD of 13/16" OD about 1 " or little over rubber. The other two Rubber spacers were glued to the lower part of the plastic on the clock to provide a solid foundation. Was it worth it? I would definitely buy this clock again and family is asking me if I would install theirs if they buy the same one. I purchased everything right here on Amazon.

It also displays the day of the week, full date, and year, all in one place. So far, she is benefiting from it and feels more at ease knowing exactly what day and time it is. The only adjustment I still make is fine-tuning the brightness, but overall this has been a very positive and supportive purchase.

My mom loves this. If she forgets the date, she simply looks at this. It helps her on a daily basis. It is easy to view even if across the room, bright enough. the time keeps good and always displays if it is morning, afternoon or evening which is a great feature if a person naps and wakes, this will show morning or night

Absolutely love love this clock. I have one in my kitchen and had to.get another for my garage. Display is great. Just puts me at ease reminding me of of the most important things. Year month day time weather. A great clock for a older busy forgetful mom.

I purchased this for my mother who has Alzheimer's. She has issues with remember the date, and if it's night or day when she wakes up on occasion. She loves this clock, and I've also grown accustomed to glancing at it because you see everything you need in one glance. The letters and numbers are large and the light is bright, so she can see it from across the room. I haven't used the alarms yet, but it's a feature that I'm sure I'll appreciate when the time comes. It's a great product!

I bought this for a friend who has dementia. She really loves it and relies on it numerous times throughout the day. You can set alarms as reminders to take meds, tune in to favorite tv shows, meal times, etc. My friend lives with her sister. When the sister saw the clock she had to have one too for her office at work. She said many of her much younger coworkers wanted to know where she got the clock because they wanted one too. The reason for 4 stars is not the price or quality, its because you need to manually adjust the clock setting twice a year when the time changes, so don't lose the instructions.
