Omix-Ada | 13510.70 | Hard Top Seal Kit, Foam Blocker | OE Reference: 68026937AB | Fits 2011-2014 Jeep Wrangler JK

Bought in 8/2020 to repair my hard top that leaked. My roof leaked so bad I was always on the lookout for rain - like a girl who just got her hair done. I honestly turned down events or left early because of rain. My right freedom panel would take on water inside of it. So when I would drive it would slosh around and drip out through random places. I would have to take my roof off to manually drain it every time. 🤬 I read a couple of different Jeep forums and people suggested weatherstripping. I think that only made it worse. As you can see in some of the photos you’ll see the OEM seals worn down and in other spots where I had added weatherstripping which were moldy. 🤢 Enter these bad boys. I decided to take my time to install these. I read reviews on the instructions and watched a video that was suggested in other reviews and began my 5 hour journey. A lot of that time was completely removing the existing seals, glue, and mildew buildup from the leaks. Once I had a clean canvas to work with, I applied these babies and put my roof back on and went chasing the rain like a kid with new rain boots!! It wasn’t immediately 💯 but it was dramatically better. Within a few months I was no longer afraid of the rain. And shortly after that, I moved to a location that didn’t have covered parking and I wasn’t worried anymore. 😎 So yeah, I would call these life changers.

Just like the original seals. My old ones were not leaking but were pretty hammered. Just thought I would do some preventative maintenance. This is not something someone without patients should try. No instructions to help and its easy to get frustrated. Pealing off the old seals is kind of a pain. Just make sure you match up the new seals with the old ones. One at a time..peal off the old and stick on the new in the exact same spot. YouTube was a lifesaver here.

When I received this kit, none of the instruction videos showed where this piece went. I replaced all the seals on the freedom top and the leaking actually got worse. When I later inspected the seals on the frame of the jeep, I found this removable stiffener and replaced it with the piece that was included in the kit. This seems to have created a nice, tight seal in the location where I suspected the initial leak.

Easy to install. Fit perfectly and helped my hard top stop leaking. Good deal for the price.

This did not fix the issue

First week after install I was disappointed because the larger tube that goes in the large hardtop piece in between the freedom panels was keeping the panels raised and still letting water in but after a week of sun & heat it has settled all the seals and I had 0 leaks in car wash so I am 100% satisfied great product.

This hands down was the cheapest and best money spent so far on my used JKU. I did not have any bad leaking issues however I had crazy wind noise at times and driving through storms was terrible. The noise in my jeep was reduced by 20 decibels when over the speed of 65 mph. Now I can cruise on the interstate on not go deaf. It’s seriously night and day. Definitely would recommend and will buy another kit or two just to have on standby since I believe jeep owners should replace these seals every couple of years.

The longer thick foam tube goes here! (See picture). Lift the seal on the back of the hardtop from the back and it’s right there. Sticks up a little bit after being installed properly but it will squish down during installation. Lots of installation instructions about the foam pieces but I couldn’t find this thing to save my life. I knew Omix wouldn’t waste the money including those pieces it if it wasn’t supposed to be installed. The smaller foam noodles go in the ends of the targa seal on the right freedom panel. It’s the long seal between the two freedom panels. It’s a D seal (might not look like the shape of a D anymore which causes the leak). This will help reinflate the ends of the seal.

Working great so far! My 2012 Jeep hard top started to leak water on both front doors on the arm rest area. I bought these, installed them, probably took an hour, and they seem to have fixed the leak I was visually seeing! Unfortunately I think water is still getting in somewhere else... This kit does not come with instructions but if you need help YouTube hardtop seal kit review & install.

Mein Dach von JKU war an den bekannten Stellen undicht. Um die alten dichtungsgummis abzubekommen bewirken nagellackentferne und ein Föhn wahre Wunder. Seit dem die neuen drauf sind ist mein Dach auch wieder Dicht. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
