Homode Cedar Blocks for Clothes Storage, Cedar Chips for Closet and Drawer, 40 Pack

This kit was actually more than I was looking for, but I'm so glad I bought it. All the different shapes, etc. made it really easy to find a cedar piece that worked anywhere you wanted to put them. Plus, I thought I was just saving a bit of money buying a kit where the pieces hung by string rather than metal hanger hooks, but it actually made the pieces more versatile - I was able to tie a couple onto my laundry basket, and a few from the bottom and sides of my open shelving. A metal hanger would have made that very cumbersome, and would never have stayed put. Just don't make the knots too tight, if you think you might need to move them!

They smell really nice, comes with sand paper but don't seem like the would need much sanding except if you had them with silks or sheers. The box had some kind of oil spots, but did not notice and oil around items which were inactive plastic bag inside the box. The variety of shapes and sizes are nice

I bought this product because I found a large spider in my bedroom recently. I have a phobia so I did some research and foundspiders do not like cedar (and peppermint). I really liked the variety of items included so I bought these- I am really happy with this product, it came as advertised & I used everything from the drawer blocks to the closet hangers. The cedar smelled fresh on arrival. Like anything good smelling it will loose its smell eventually , so to freshen the blocks, just buff a piece of sand paper over it 1-2 times to get that fresh cedar scent again.

Not a strong cedar smell and you have to tue them. Next time, we will pau more and have them with hangars.

This set was a total bust. There is literally no scent whatsoever to any of the pieces. Even after sanding, these blocks might as well be plastic. Plus the sachets aren't sandable so you are paying to be mailed little sacks of garbage.All the pieces are very small compared to other similar products I've purchased in the past. There's probably a reason they don't disclose the piece sizes in the product description!The wood itself seems OK, so you could use the wood blocks with a cedar oil or cedar refreshing spray... but it's a lot easier to buy a different brand.

Smells great and the variety is really useful. I put them in my shoes, dresser, closet and some boxes. It would be better if there were actually hangers instead of string because even if loosely tied it still inhibits the movement of the clothes hangers on the rod

The smallest cedar pieces seem a little useless. After a while, one should freshen up the cedar pieces with a file or sandpaper. So the small ones are going to be difficult to manipulate. The larger pieces were all fine. I just tossed them into my woolens storage boxes.

What a lovely product. I’m very pleased with this purchase. There’s a large variety of shapes and sizes of cedar that can be placed in different areas of my closet. It also comes with a small piece of sandpaper for when the scent weakens. The smell is great.
