It’s funny how differently we all see and experience things. I read most of the reviews and was chuckling at crunchy versus quiet. Some people say this is a crunchy crackly loud comforter, some people say it’s soft and quiet. I jumped at the 100% cotton cover, and the all-feather insides and pulled the trigger. The twin down comforter at Costco was $145. I’m a bed snob. Here’s my take on crunchy-gate. Yeah you can hear this comforter, it’s not quiet, but mine is going into a lovely duvet cover in a guestroom, and I don’t care. It’s thick. It’s warm. I love the heavy cotton poplin cover. Seems well-made. It will be in my guest room inside of a duvet for years. 💯

I’m a bit of a bedding snob - this is the perfect mid weight down comforter. Other people mentioned smell - it doesn’t smell like anything to me. Honestly i don’t know that you could do better for the price point. Feathers are really fluffy and soft - no hard spines. Cotton is dense & soft.

Have had this comforter for a few months now and I am very happy with it. The weight is perfect in terms of maintaining warmth without being overly heavy/hot. I especially like that it "poofs" back up nicely when I make the bed and maintains its fullness. No issues with feeling the points of the quills or seeing them poke through the fabric whatsoever. Very soft. Good quality. Great value in my opinion.

I’ve owned a really expensive goose down comforter before and been looking for a cheaper alternative. This one is great! I purchased a king size even though I have a Q bed. It fit perfectly! I wanted it a little oversized so it could hang over since I have a box spring. This is cool and very breathable! Slept so good! Def worth the purchase. Fluff out the comforter for a few hours and it gets extra fluffy!

Beautiful and soft but feathers do come out quick like other reviews have said but it’s not bad Hi. There’s also a strong feather smell. I’ve had mine since Christmas and even though I have a duvet cover and sprayed my room I still smell feathers. So if you like the small birds, it’s fine, but if you don’t, your room is gonna smell smelly birds lol. It also has a very pleasant white weight; makes sleeping very comfortable and keeps heat in very well!

When I got this, I was a bit disappointed as the shell is not as soft as I would have hoped and insert does not get as puffy and light as other down inserts I have had. It does keep me a bit cooler than one I previously bought that was a "down alternative." That being said, it has a hard shell to the point where I went back to see the outer cover was polyester, but the description says it is 100% cotton. But yes... it DOES have a bit of a crunch.I would not purchase this again....

I have not yet washed it but I believe it will be fine on gentle. It’s very comfortable. It is thick. I am not sure about waterproofness and I don’t plan on finding out by spilling on it. It is pretty easy to use. It was white as I anticipated.
