Beautiful screen, amazing colors, and honestly the perfect size.
I’ve gone through a good number of gaming monitors over the years, but this is my first OLED—and the difference hits you immediately. The colors are incredibly vibrant, the contrast is unreal, and the deep blacks make everything look so clean and cinematic. It honestly makes my old IPS and VA panels feel washed out in comparison. The 34" ultrawide size ended up being perfect for my setup. It feels immersive without being too big, and the curve pulls you in just enough. Whether I’m gaming, watching YouTube, or streaming shows, it fills your field of view in a really natural way. For gaming specifically, this thing is a beast. Paired with my 4070 Ti, 2K ultrawide hits that sweet spot of sharp visuals and high FPS. Fast-paced games look buttery smooth, and motion handling on this OLED is noticeably better than any monitor I’ve owned before. The low input lag and high refresh rate make everything feel responsive, and HDR actually looks good on this panel—not like the fake HDR some monitors try to claim. It also has nice quality-of-life touches: easy-to-navigate settings, a clean design, and surprisingly good brightness for an OLED. I haven’t run into any issues with text clarity or burn-in so far. Overall, this is hands down the best monitor I’ve ever used. If you’re thinking about switching to OLED but unsure if it’s worth it, this model will convince you pretty quickly. Totally happy with the upgrade.

Best monitor I've ever owned
I rolled with dual Dell 27" IPS monitors for about 5-6 years, and I loved them. My young daughter spilled milk in one of those monitors, so it was time for a new setup. I decided to upgrade to the 32-34" range to pair with my other 27". I did a ton of research, and wanted to keep it below $400, so I bought the Asus VG3A series, a VA panel. While the screen real estate and high refresh rates were great, the panel and color reproduction were very much "meh" compared to even my older IPS panels. It just felt "hollow". Not to mention I plug my speaker system into my monitors because I often switch PC's between work and personal, and the audio out connection had a ton of feedback. I decided to just try an OLED monitor to see what the difference would be, and even though the Alienware is significantly more expensive, I simply can't go back. The colors, clarity, settings, construction and connectivity are incredible. Attached are images compared to my high-end laptop screen and 27" IPS. The contrast, colors, and clarity are just amazing. I am a software developer (not a gamer), so the deep blacks and color accuracy make working in editors extremely pleasant. If there was one complaint, the text isn't quite as sharp as I would like (mainly dark text on light backgrounds) due to a side effect of OLED technology, but you get used to it. I also tempted my fate by ordering "Used - Acceptable" from Amazon to save several hundred dollars, and to be honest it appears to be completely unused. All original packaging items were present, and the screen/panel didn't even have a single fingerprint. All in all, it seems that I prefer Dell monitors, and this Alienware does not disappoint. Even though I paid several hundred dollars more than I wanted, you get what you pay for. And if your livelihood is staring at monitors for 6-8 hours a day like me, it's completely worth it.

TrueHDR, High Resolution, Premium Quality
wow amazing took a little bit to figure out the settings i was almost convinced this display was as good as my IPS 4k display, but after setting HDR and inky blacks, plus color profile it turned out to be one heck of a display, cant go wrong with the price either, worth every penny

Alienware 34" QD monitor
This monitor is very good , my gaming setup is in a basement environment which is ideal for this QD-OLED panel. Still working on tweaking the settings to get the best possible picture. It is an older model but at the price they were selling it for made more sense to my budget. My only disappointment is the protective screen, not the temp one that your supposed to remove, the permenant one.... tiny air bubbles. In a darkened room it's really not a issue, you really can't set it, but with all the lights on, you just can't not see them with the monitor powered off. I picked this monitor up for $500 on sale black friday , I'm not by any means a serious gamer, the 165hz refresh rate is good, it looks spectacular color wise, it serves it purpose. If you have a similar situation like mine I would not give it a second thought. But if you're purchasing this monitor for a well lit room, I'd give it a hard pass. Quality Control definitely wasn't on the agenda at the time of assembly.

Excellent
Pretty amazing monitor. The need to run a pixel refresh every 4h or so is pretty annoying, but sadly that's just the nature of OLEDs. We need the next new thing beyond OLEDs to come already. Comes perfectly calibrated out of the box. Disable any and all color profiles you might have set up.

A suivre...

The Alienware AW3423DWF Curved Monitor is, without a doubt, one of the best gaming monitors I’ve ever owned. From the moment I set it up, I could tell this was going to be a game-changer. It boasts a 34-inch QD-OLED display that brings a level of depth and color accuracy that’s nothing short of spectacular. Whether I’m playing fast-paced action games or exploring visually rich open-world environments, this monitor delivers an immersive experience like no other. Design and Build Quality The design is sleek and modern, in line with Alienware’s signature style. The monitor’s ultra-thin bezels make it a perfect fit for a multi-monitor setup, though the display itself is so wide that I don’t feel the need for a second screen. The 1800R curvature provides an excellent balance between immersion and comfort, drawing me into the action without overwhelming my field of vision. It’s easy to adjust the height, tilt, and swivel, so I was able to find the perfect viewing angle quickly. The build quality feels solid and premium, as expected from Alienware. Display and Performance Now onto the heart of the matter—the display. The 3440x1440p QD-OLED panel offers exceptional clarity, making even the smallest details in games or movies stand out. Colors are vivid and vibrant, and the blacks are truly deep, which is where this monitor really shines compared to traditional LED displays. The HDR performance is stunning, creating a dynamic contrast that enhances every scene. What really impressed me was the 165Hz refresh rate combined with Adaptive Sync. The gaming experience is buttery smooth with no screen tearing or ghosting, even in high-motion games like Call of Duty and Cyberpunk 2077. The 0.1ms response time makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced shooters, providing a competitive edge. Additionally, the 1000-nit peak brightness for HDR content makes it perfect for both dark and brightly lit rooms, making every in-game moment look as realistic as possible. Connectivity and Features The Alienware Command Center makes it easy to tweak settings to your liking. I was able to fine-tune the color accuracy and customize the lighting settings with ease. It also comes with multiple connectivity options, including two HDMI ports, DisplayPort, and a USB hub, ensuring I can plug in all my peripherals without a hitch. One of my favorite features is the AlienFX lighting—it’s customizable and adds a nice touch to my gaming setup. While it’s not necessary for performance, it certainly enhances the overall aesthetics, especially during late-night gaming sessions. The on-screen display (OSD) is intuitive and offers plenty of customization, whether I’m adjusting brightness, contrast, or enabling game-specific presets. Final Thoughts In summary, the Alienware AW3423DWF is an absolute powerhouse for gaming and productivity alike. The combination of the ultra-wide curved display, QD-OLED technology, and high refresh rate creates a gaming experience that is both visually stunning and incredibly responsive. Alienware has truly delivered with this monitor, and I can confidently say it’s well worth the investment for serious gamers or anyone who wants the best in visual performance. If you’re looking for a monitor that can handle anything you throw at it—whether it’s competitive gaming, content creation, or just enjoying cinematic visuals—this is the one to get. Absolutely incredible and worth every penny!

Product has a poor screen coating that is prone to damage and scatches. Monitor image quailty is good with high refresh rate.

Best monitor ever. Was hesitate but I don'"t regret at all. Really guys at this price and quality it's a bargain. Comes from a 10 years old 32'' assus ips, was afraid to lose from the vertical lenght but every fear has disapeared once turned on the monitor. Text is as clear as my ips and that's the best surprise for me. Be cautious though that your GPU must be recent cause my old gtx 1080 with Display port 1.4 doesn't support more that 120hz fps to get the HDR 10 bits. So for now till I get an new gpu I'm stucked with 117fps but with a true HDR 10 bits. Curving is perfect. Picture and colour : stunning! Night and day from a IPS. Give yourself a favour and get this jewel you won't regret it. Beautiful. Good job Dell/Alienware!!!
