Helping my allergies

Please have been our favorite go-to vitamin C. Recently they changed from tablets to capsules which is even better as tablets require binders. Love the time release too. Can pop these every few hours when sick to keep a steady level in your body.

I have purchased vitamins and minerals from this brand for a while now, but this is the first time I purchased one of their vitamin C's. I trust the product completely even though I have noticed some discomforts here and there... To start with, the capsules are an average large and not difficult to swallow and the flavor you will get is a medium light acidic flavor as you put it in your mouth before swallowing it. Second, I take only one capsule a day and have taken it on an empty stomach and with food; morning and/or evening. When I took it with food, I noticed some discomfort in my stomach; for example, this morning I took it right before breakfast maybe like 5 minutes before breakfast. Later in the morning, I realized that the eggs I ate along with the capsule reacted in a negative way and resulted in one episode of diarrhea. There were a couple of occasions I took it in the morning without eating any thing until way later in the afternoon and so far that worked best for me since I did not feel the same stomach discomfort I mentioned earlier. The other thing I do not like about this vitamin c is that it releases in two phases and that creates an urge to pee many times during the early and late evening. This can be a little of an inconvenience if you are out and about, at work or running errands; but not as bad if you are at home. I feel this vitamin C makes my bladder way overactive and it is inconvenient during my sleeping hours; since I have to visit the bathroom frequently to pee. My husband takes this same vitamin and he takes it at different times of the day with or without food and he does not have the same issues as I do. I guess, different body systems, different reactions... Overall, this is a great vitamin in my opinion and the value of the brand, benefits, and quantity are very good. I will keep using it the way it works best for me and my body system.

Excellent choice for Vitamin C

These have helped keep me from getting sick while working with sick patients. Love the time released. I only have to remember to take them in the morning and I'm set all day. I take 3 each day and sometimes I take a few at night too - jic
