I am writing this review after purchasing my third bottle: Flavor & Consistency: It is much tastier then vanilla extract, due to its potency. It has a stronger vanilla taste, and the taste runs slightly deeper then vanilla extract. Though it says "vanilla paste", the consistency is like liquid which makes it just as easy to mix into dishes as vanilla extract. I have used it in yogurts, milk, baked goods, etc. with zero issues in mixing evenly. Price: It is a bit pricey, but I feel you are paying for the quality you get with this product. I cook everyday, but I do not always use vanilla flavoring in my baked dishes. Because of the price, I really only use this for vanilla dishes (which I do once in a while, since my boyfriend and family prefer chocolate), and to flavor my plain yogurt. So I make a bottle last weeks and weeks sometimes. If you bake with vanilla paste often, and you have the money in your budget for this necessity item, then I say go for it. If you bake often, but would rather your budget go towards other aspects of your life, then you might want to stick with vanilla extract. Or do what I do and use it sparingly, since it is a good product, and definitely enhances vanilla based dishes. All in all, I recommend this, but it can get expensive if you bake often.

I LOVE this vanilla bean paste. It's easy to use and provides an easy substitute equivalent for a vanilla bean. The product is attractive and comes in a glass jar to ensure lasting freshness. The paste itself has an intense, almost floral flavor that does not compare to simple vanilla extract. The double pack was a fair price and worth every penny, especially compared to the price of whole vanilla beans. I recommend this product to any baker- professional or home baker.

I use this vanilla bean paste in most of my baked goods that call for vanilla. It is super flavorful, & high quality for a fantastic price. People notice a difference in my recipes when I use this, & I keep it as my secret ingredient. Fantastic for making vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, sauces & substitutions that call for vanilla.

This is nice if you want the visual of vanilla bean "flecks" in whatever you're making. The flavor is nice and vanilla-y, but not too intense. I was hoping that it would be a little thicker (more bean, less gel) but it's much easier than scraping beans yourself.

Initially I found this vanilla paste unpalatable.,,Since it was a non-returnable item I decided to give it another chance. I am delighted to say that this product lives up to its other recommendations and I am very pleased with my cooking results. Since initial use I have gone on a cooking test using this product in ice cream, cookies (oatmeal & chocolate chip) custard, bread pudding with a sauce and muffins and a vanilla cake. This vanilla paste is fantastic and my apologies for jumping to a quick decision after first use. I am a fan of this product and would purchase again!

It arrived quickly. I made a stabilized whipped cream cheese frosting with it. Kids and adults liked it. It is delicious and I like seeing the flecks of vanilla. Can’t wait to try it in more recipes. I like supporting this company’s mission too; providing a way to help Tonga vanilla farmers. I will purchase this again.

This is SO delicious! I had run into several recipes that call for vanilla paste. I had never heard of vanilla paste until I read them. The advantages over extract are that you get both the visual of the actual tiny seeds from the bean and a nose full of flavor you just won't get in the liquid. Admittedly, I have not tried any other brands but this one is everything you could ever want to jazz up all your baking!

Is was a good product, but it isn’t a ‘strong’ flavor. In other words you have to use just as much in a recipe to get the desired flavor. But with white buttercream frosting or whipped cream it certainly makes a nice presentation with the visual vanilla seeds. The containers were small and the cost was very reasonable but I would probably keep to a more full bodied, low alcohol content vanilla.
