This Runpower A1819 battery comes with all the tools you need to install it, plus a pair of nitrile gloves and coherent fitting instructions (featuring text and colour pictures - a welcome change; no other laptop-battery manufacturer I've come across provides such in-depth and easy-to-follow instructions). The installation process is relatively quick and easy if you follow the instructions to the letter. I recommend watching a video tutorial before you embark on the installation process, in addition to reading the paper instructions. The benefit of an instructional video is that it shows the entire battery-fitting process occurring in real time, allowing you to see clearly what you need to do and what order you need to do it in. Video tutorials are extremely useful for showing the location of every screw you need to remove in order to replace the battery in your laptop - just make sure the video shows your exact model.Rather than wearing the provided nitrile gloves while replacing the battery, I recommend washing and thoroughly drying your hands before you start, then putting on an anti-static wristband (these are cheap to buy) and doing the job with bare hands. Dexterity is needed when taking out tiny screws with delicate little screwdrivers, and gloves hamper that dexterity. An anti-static wristband is recommended when you're working inside any computer, even if you're only changing a battery, because these wristbands prevent you from inadvertently frying any of the laptop's internal components with static electricity from your skin.I fitted this battery nine weeks ago and it's going strong.

£70 at time of reviewComes with the tools you need plus instructions, although if you’re taking on opening up and replacing a battery in a MacBook or an Mobile phone etc for the first time then I strongly suggest you find a step through guide online from the likes of ifixit et al. Having done a few of these now myself I know it’s not as daunting as it may seem at first, but you still need to go slow and be very careful, so many tiny screws and connections that can be easily damaged.Anyway, once the old battery was out this one slipped into place perfectly and has given the old Mac a new lease of life, fingers crossed it will work well for a few more years nowHope my review was helpful

Even though it is for the first time when I mount battery into my MacBook with the help of the tools that are provided in the back and also with the user manual I have managed to do it in roughly one hour which for me it is quite impressive.I confirmed that everything was fine and I remember when I just switched on my MacBook after installing this battery I was a bit concerned that it might not work but everything is as expected and also for example when I use the fast charger this battery doesn't warm up because I have checked this for a lot of times on this indicates the fact that the quality of the battery is good.I cannot say though that it lasts the same amount of time as the genuine apple that I had before but I'm still pleased with its performance because for example when I edit video which requires quite a lot of power usage, the battery lasts for roughly 3 hours, and when I do regular activities such as browsing on the internet it can hold even around 5 hours.Per general I'm satisfied with how this battery performs and from my side everything is fine.

My old 13" MBP 2016 laptop is 7 years old and has a battery cycle count of over 683. This battery replacement kit will breathe new life to it. ⛑️Prior to the installation, I did watch a few y0utube videos to gain some understanding on the various approaches to perform this task. I decided to go with the easiest approach which avoids removing the motherboard.Installation experience:I really like the kit as it includes all the tools to complete the task. After removing the back case, I partially removed the side speakers and used a strong but thin string and like a cheese wire, i slowly sliced off the glue. The process carefully removing the entire old batteries took around 25-35minutes. The fitting of the new batteries took another 5minutes and putting the back cover was another 5minutes. The whole job was about 40mins but I used this opportunity to clean out all the dust trapped in the dual fans etc.Things I liked:- it included all the tools required to complete the job 🎉- battery was detected (full health) 🙌Overall, the result are amazing. It’s like have the laptop like it was on day one. Already I can see the difference in (longer) battery life. Happy day!!! 😍 😍 😍

Having used this company before and found their batteries to be reliable with good longevity I felt confident fitting this one.In my experience it takes much longer to get the old battery out and only 5 minutes to fit the new one.I would take the opportunity to watch a few step by step tutorials and also carefully clean the fans and vents while it’s open.I have successfully used dental floss before, dabbed with adhesive remover to patiently slice through the glue, but they’re lots of tips online.Once installed this battery works beautifully, and I would recommend it.If you have a laptop which is otherwise sound I would recommend a battery from this company to breathe new life into it.In my opinion it’s great value, for money and will save you a good chunk of change.I hope you find my review helpful.

So far, I am happy with the order. The quality is good. It came with all the necessary tools for replacing the battery. The instructions are detailed. The installation is easy but a long process and takes up to an hour. Decent capacity.Arrived well-packaged. The price is slightly expensive in my opinion, still cheaper than the original OEM. Will recommend.
