So, I'm an IT guy and one of the special services I offer my clients (as a courtesy) who are concerned about Privacy and EMF toxicity with cell phones, is replacement Unlocked AT&T compatible phones that work on Consumer Cellular (AT&T) that I custom config for elevated privacy and reduced EMFs. This really is more of a fun thing I like to do for my long term clients whom I'm also fond of. The beauty of AOSP is that it is basically the Open Source side of Android development that any Phone Maker or Carrier can custom configure for their purposes which lean, in some cases, pretty heavily towards personal Data Collection, by running many things in the background which cause most cell phone to constantly be active thereby oft running hot and emitting constant EMF (microwave) frequencies, reducing battery life, reducing their lifespan and well, in essence frying us a little bit to hear it told. So the beauty of AOSP based cell phones is that many of the Apps that otherwise run in the background, can be disabled for the most part, leaving only Apps that each user needs and thus lowering EMFs, reducing temperature, increasing battery life and duty as well increasing phone lifespan. Ok enough tech talk... Enter the NUU A25. This is a lovely phone with good specs, a beautiful screen and priced at what I think makes it one of the best dollar values for a phone of this caliber to be had here in the States at $150. NUU states that the phone will NOT work on Consumer Cellular but where I abide, Consumer Cellular is on the AT&T network and so my test NUU A25 works beautifully without an issue I can find. The phone instantly and perfectly activated the moment I powered the phone back on after installing the SIM card! I personally loved AOSP Android 10 due to it's simplicity, configurability, beauty and ease of use etc > fast forward to today and the latest Android OS' have so many silly waste of time things as well a big reduction in Beauty and attractiveness in the Interface but this NUU A25 with Android 13 is Lovely! Crisp icons, visuals are excellent and then add to this the AMOLED screen and you've a wonderful phone that is most enjoyable to use for the most part. NUU even thru in some attractive theme options that add to the improved use and attractiveness of the device. Also fixed up the phone with what looks like an excellent camera with lots of configuration options and pretty high resolution! I know this is a sticky topic but in my area, most people are NOT in favor of 5G, feeling that it does not serve the spread out nature of the area as well is considered quite toxic in terms of EMF and personal health. I can't site an studies around this but because my clients are concerned, I am also concerned and the NUU A25 appears to be a 4G phone without ability with 5G and I noticed when working on the phone that my hand does Not ache the way it does when I have to work on a 5G phone. Overall, I am very pleased and consider this one of the best Phone values at $150 there is and encourage you all to give it a try, remembering that there are a lot of carrier issues everywhere so your experience might Not be as good as mine so please consider NOT diss NUU if this happens to you. Fact is cell phone makers can only accommodate so many carriers in each device. And NUU, you all did a great job on this phone, well done but please keep the price so it stays one of the best values there is and please keep making these and offering them on Amazon with Android13!

There is not better bang for the buck, I got this for business and it hits and delivers. The display matches flagship phones in my opinion. It is 4g only however the sheer price for the quality of what is there is amazing, under the screen finger print censor that works, camera quality is workable, if you don't need to zoom but need to take a lot of good pictures you are good. I came from a galaxy s22 ultra, this is the better phone. It even plays mobile legends BB well enough for my 5 year old to get 5 wins in a row. Buy it, the people making these phones deserve it on quality alone.

I spent weeks searching the internet for a good, unlocked, dual sim phone. Tired of carrying TWO phones (one for my ministry and another for my personal cell phone number), I finally chose this NUU A25 based on overall reviews and price point. I have been using this phone since purchasing it approximately 6 months ago. I am absolutely *not* new to using a cell phone or adapting when switching over to a replacement or new phone. So, here is my very thoughtful review from a very average (professional person) user: *SIZE* The phone size is nice. It is nicely in that "between" space of being too large and not too small. I am finding this phone to be comfortable in my hand, jacket or pant pocket while not needing it's own shopping bag to carry around. *WEIGHT* Fairly substantial for a phone of this size, which is also something I appreciate about this phone. I can carry it comfortably in a cross body shoulder bag or in the back pocket of my jeans without an issue. *TOUCH RESPONSE ON SCREEN* The screen is clear and..... hyper responsive. Sometimes. After about 6 months I am finding that this phone is *sometimes* responsive on the first touch, sometimes not even with a freshly cleaned screen. I am also finding that if I have any other finger in my holding hand anywhere near the edge of the screen, my touch response doesn't respond because it is registering I am already in contact with the screen. This is super annoying! *SCREEN LOOK/REFRESH* -Decent! I have not had any trouble with crispness of color or refresh rates on this phone. -I have found that having three available home screens has been ample for me, especially that I can put similar apps in the same "folder" and these three screens give me enough space to sort and separate apps as I need. -I also like the choice of how many icons across I can have on my home screens, which gives me more space for apps that I more frequently use for my ministry *and* my personal use on the first home screen. *VOLUME* -Not as great as most other phones. Adjusting volume is easy for phone calls with the volume button on the side, but there is a secondary volume adjustment when I push the volume button I cannot figure out how to control from the screen- or even know what it's for. Kind of irritating. -Even at the highest speaker volume, hearing podcasts while driving in my car is a challenge unless I Bluetooth it through my car's system-- which seems very difficult to do with this phone, unlike my Samsung. After 6 months of trying to get my NUU & my Honda to cooperate, I called a truce. *USER FRIENDLINESS* I am frustrated the most in this area with this phone (the most important part of using a cell phone!)-- hence the three stars. -On my previous phone I had the option to independently adjust notification and ringtone sounds. This phone DOES NOT allow for that. When you adjust one, you've also adjusted the other. There's no separating these. -I am having a tough time trying to figure out how to set separate notification tones for my most important apps and contacts. My Samsung made this a breeze. -My phone keeps asking me to "restrict some applications" and automatically decides for me which apps to put into "sleep" mode based on my usage. Whatever happened to "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and letting the user decide that?!? My Samsung never did this. -Good luck porting any pictures from my phone to my laptop or desktop! My desktop will *not* recognize my phone or import any pictures from my phone, despite me asking all the best experienced techies (read: the teens in my circle) how to go about doing this. They cannot figure it out either. Which causes me to have to use a thumb drive for my phone to d/l pictures in order to be able to upload them to my laptop or desktop. An extra step I would rather avoid wasting time on. -It took me a hot minute to navigate adding new contacts into this phone. Seems like there are a few extra clicks to make before I can do that (or maybe it's just operator fumbling LOL). But again, I *easily* navigated this on my old Samsung. -As to importing pictures from my previous phone.... It required the big leagues at Best Buy to help me with this. Yes, really. I followed all the steps the NUU phone told me to take to transfer files and pictures from my Samsung. I tried three different ways, several times on each attempt. No bueno. Nada. Zipado. The big zero. Nope, not happening. Even the fine gents at Best Buy had a difficult time trying to figure this out & couldn't make it happen easily or smoothly-- & that says something. As a result, only about 1/3 of my files and pictures made it to my NUU from my Samsung (and no, i do *not* store a thing from my phone on some random "cloud"). So, that meant putting all my files & pictures on my phone thumb drive and importing from there or, again, carrying two phones when necessary. *DUAL SIM ACCESS* In a word... UGH. Getting calls in on my phone on my second sim is fine. *Making* calls from that second sim is another thing altogether because navigation to that second sim is awkward at best. Perhaps, again, this is operator error, but I have read other reviews that mention the same issue. *OVERALL* It seems that this phone makes some sacrifices in user friendliness for the dual sim capability it offers. The price point is decent on this phone (one of the reasons I opted in for it), but the user difficulties, sound/sound control issues & touch screen issues-- among other reasons aforementioned- are enough to drive me back to Samsung & carry two phones or have my second number simply forwarded to my primary phone with a different ringtone assigned to it. If you're more techno savvy than most you might find this phone a good deal. If you're in my situation, you might be well advised to move on to another option. Three stars for all the reasons above.

Great phone. Beautiful, excellent specs, easy setup. I'm on Mint Mobile and had no issues. I game a lot and it's much better than my Samsung A16 was in terms of power and screen resolution. Overall performance is top notch. Better than most big brand name phones priced under $900. I used to have a OnePlus 13 and I'd say this phone is comparable.
