I played PoE and enjoyed it immensely. The book is a nice way to explore the immense lore the good folks from Obsidian created for this world and keep me busy until PoE 2: Dreadfire becomes available.

A companion piece to a Superb immersive game - NOT A STRATEGY GUIDE
Ok so first off, please note THIS IS NOT A STRATEGY GUIDE for the game as has clearly been mistaken by a previous reviewer. It is a beatifully composed background companion to the lore, and history of the, if you will campaign setting the game is based in, and as such is well written and beautifully illustrated. It fleshes out regional areas, races and cultures, so if you want to go add to the experience of what is already in my view a superb, evocative and immersive game, then this may well be for you. Again though .. THS IS NOT A STATEGY GUIDE.

Brilliant book for lore lovers, printed in the US, thick and high quality paper, short but full of interesting information about the world of Eora. A real steal for the price, highly recommended.

Good book, but I expected a bit more full color art which, sadly, was lacking. But a useful guide for the game, nonetheless.

Hervorragende Qualität
Das Buch ist hervorragend aufgemacht. Das Design ist wirklich hübsch und aufgelockert gestaltet. Die Seitenstärke ist so hoch, dass ich beim Umblättern häufig meine, aus Versehen zwei Seiten umgeblättert zu haben. Inhaltlich gibt das Buch einen detaillierten Einblick in die Spielwelt - Geschichte, Gottheiten, Völker und Kreaturen sind umfangreich beschrieben. Das ist für mich seit langem das schönste Buch und ich lese sehr gerne darin. Nachtrag 07.02.2017: Das Buch besitzt ein Hardcover.

Bellissima Guida all'Ambientazione
Se siete fan di Pillars of Eternity, questa guida dell'ambientazione non deve mancarvi. Copertina rigida, carta patinata e splendide illustrazioni. La guida comprende vari capitoli divisi per tematiche: religione, politica, geografia, razze, storia, cultura e bestiario, per un totale di 110 pagine. Attenzione: non si stratta di una guida strategica con soluzione del gioco ed è in lingua inglese.

A fantastic read on an interesting new world.
This book is beautiful. I mean that both in aesthetic as the books itself if high quality, and the artwork is top notch. I also mean that in content as the world displayed in it's pages is comprehensive, extremely interesting, and incredibly detailed. If your looking forward to the game, or already have it and want a guide to the world (not the game, this isn't a strategy guide), then this is a must have.

Got the game? Get the book!
Just beautiful and a wonderful read. Really flushes out the game and makes the whole experience so much better. Really impressed with the quality of the this guidebook. Its not a walkthrough, but flushes out the lore of the world. I really like the size too! It's a little bigger than I thought and I love it. It's nice to have beside me as I quest through the land!

Pour les fans du jeu, un must have, complet, richement illustré, parfait. Seul souci, le "volume 1" qui laisse présager d'autres ouvrages, mais combien et quand ?... Livre en anglais.
