This stool has two annoyances if you move it. It can close on your fingers when you pick it up and it pretty much takes two hands to open. I didn't like emptying both hands to move it while washing my truck and gardening so I wished it would stay open until I put it away for the day. I cut an 11 inch strut from a fiberglass tent pole. I jam the strut into the honeycomb inside the stool so the seat stays open. I started to zip-tie a piece of wood into the same role but a removeable strut lets it close to keep spiders from housekeeping there.

I purchased the "Thicken Plastic" version because it was shown as being rated for 330 pounds instead of 300 pounds like the standard version. But, a sticker on the stool indicated it is rated for 300 pounds. Then, I noticed that molded right into the plastic is "maximum capacity of 260lbs". I have no idea what the real weight capacity is. Aside from the capacity confusion, I'm pleased with the stool. The 13" height is perfect to help me easily step into the bed of my Ford Maverick pickup truck. Plus, it folds to fit perfectly in the space behind the wheel well.

I use this all of the time and love it. It stays folded up in the kitchen most of the time because I use it the most to reach into the higher cabinets. But I also use it outside to sit when working in the garden or anywhere else where I need to work on something low. Great tool!

I used this to go on my trip for the shower. Its a great height and good for lifting my leg to wash up properly. Yes, youre probably wondering why I would need that. If you're a plus size woman, it's a requirement. It fits great in my suitcase and fits good for a stand up shower.

Sturdy, but not as easy to fold/unfold as their 11" model. Need to be mindful of not getting fingers or hand pinched.
