Just what I wanted to add a new look to my stang
My current shifter is starting to show old age and peeling (see photos for a before and after). So I got this kit to add new life to my 2018 mustang eco-boost convertible. The product showed up with one of the pieces out of the plastic but no big deal. Everything still looks good in new condition. This was an easy upgrade to install. I wiped my shifter down with rubbing alcohol, followed by a wet cloth, and then a dry one to ensure no dust or debris to prevent from being sticky. Pilling off the 3M was a bit of a challenge due to the small size so take your time. It took me about three minutes to install, after installing the one thing I noticed besides the beautiful carbon fiber look was that the shifter felt better in my hands so if you have bigger hands, this is a great way to add a better feel to your ride. The carbon fiber looks great and look seamless installed on my shifter. Perfect upgrade for my Mustang! I will follow up later if I have any issues but so far Iโm loving it five stars for a simple and easy upgrade to your ride.

Not a sticky situation.
Item was not what I expected as far as quality. The tape was cheap and would not stay stuck to the shifter. I would be embarrassed if somebody touched my shifter and it fell off in their hands. Fit was good and installation was easy but if it is not durable and can stay stuck then it is no good to me.

Easy to install
Nice upgrade for my 2019 Mustang. It includes 3 plastic panels with a carbon fiber look. Easy piece is simply stuck to the gear shift with the included double sided tape. Perfect fit, comfortable to hold and a sharp look. Easy to remove in the future if desired. Took about 5 minutes to install. The hardest part was getting the cover off the tape but long nails or tweezers help. Nice accessory!
