No awful metallic taste, easy to clean with Barkeeper's Friend (though the company may say not to)
SO happy with these pans! NO awful "metallic" taste like the other stainless steel pans I bought before, that had nickel in them. The company makes a big deal about seasoning them (like how you would season cast iron) and makes it seem in the instructions like it is going to be a big deal to clean them and food will stick more than it does with other stainless steel, but I honestly don't find it to be any different in that regards. I initially seasoned one of the pans but then wanted to "wash" it, not just wipe it down, then I stopped seasoning it, and now I cook with an avocado oil spray that contains no propellant. I use Barkeeper's Friend to get the pans sparkling clean like new when needed, and so far (over the course of about 2 months) I don't see it has scratched them or caused any problems. The pans also come with several packets of a special cleaner (which I imagine is either like Barkeeper's Friend - a mild acid, or like a petroleum-based stainless steel cleaner, but I haven't opened any of the packs yet so don't know.)Overall I'm super happy with using these knowing it is far better for my health. The price is great considering all the pans and utensils that come with it. That said, it's weird that the company that makes these tells you to not use metal utensils on the pans but they include a whole bunch of metal utensils. So I've never used any of those and they are taking up space in my cupboard unneccessarily.

Great set of pots -- great investment.
Great set. Love it. Heats up fast saves time in cooking. You do need to use pot holders when handling the pot handle and glass pot cover. It is so worth it for a small family.I have a nickel allergy. Safe from nickel. Over 300 degrees stainless steelPots rated 80/20 release nickel. The pots are 80/10 and safe. Check it out for yourself.

Attractive and functional, good customer service
For the price, I am very happy with the set. Only complaint is the potato masher is too flimsy and bends when trying to mash cooked potatoes, making it pretty much useless. Certainly not a deal breaker, because the quality and look of the pots and pans is superb in this price range. I also really appreciate the information provided on care and use. Comes with polish. Customer service reached out by email after delivery, nice touch. Happy with purchase, about 6 months later now.

This is my second purchase of this brand. Very happy with it.
I bought just one pot a year ago and have be so pleased with it that I bought a complete set. The pans were well packaged, the instruction booklet for cleaning and seasoning is easy to follow and IT WORKS! I occasionally run my other pan through the dishwasher and then re-season. These work on gas, electric and induction cooktops. I love that they are nickel and coating free. Be aware that nickel free cookware heats up more rapidly than traditional stainless. I love to cook and am hard on my cookware. For the value for the quality is superb.

Happy with my new cookware!
I'm so happy to find healthy alternative, that works perfectly as described in a super detailed manual for those with the allergies. All my previous attempts at dealing with SS failed. I was happy beyond words that my first dish cooked in my new pan came out as I wanted to and the pan stayed clean! And just in time, when my allergies flared up! Thank you!Update: After a few months of use, still totally happy! I live in a very humid climate, not a hint of rust! The pans are shiny, I wash them according to the instructions. I wash the lids in the dishwasher. Everything works!

Not very durable and the lids have bad flaws hot knobs with condensation
What I love is it the set is supposedly nickel free. What I don’t love is the fact that it is poorly constructed all the lids have several flaws, liquid or condensation builds up between the knob of the lid and the seal when you wash the lid or when you use the lid so you have to use a screwdriver and unscrew the whole assembly and dry it out every time you use the lid! second the lid knob heats up to horrifically high hot temperature when used and you must Never touch it with your bare hands. Must always use a hot pot holder. The finish on pans is easily damaged. This would be a good set for a winter or summer cabin where they rarely cook or they rarely use the cookware but for every day use absolutely not. I will say the company is very responsive to complaints and feedback however, that only goes too far when you’re dealing with a product that is not very durable the finish on my skillet easily corroded when cooking starchy to vegetables. The only reason I bought the set is it was the only set that was mentioned by Leafe mama on her blog about lead and heavy metals in cookware and kitchen products and so that’s why purchased it. I do have nickel sensitivity and I’m trying to limit heavy metals for my family. I was very excited at first at the thought of seasoning these pans and having a nonstick cooking finish, but my goals were not exactly realized despite me spending hours painstakingly trying to finish and season pans.

Pots are great; poor construction on pot lids and utensils
First of all, there is absolutely no need to season stainless steel cookware. I don't understand the instructions telling the purchaser to season the pots. I'm using the pots without any issues of sticking. The lids and utensils all have a problem that is a quality issue. All the utensils have a sharp, unfinished edge to them. Also, the utensils have a handle that has a slot where water can enter when cleaning. If I use them I would possibly have soapy water dripping down into the bowls of the utensils from the handles. Every one of them is like this. And the lids have a knob handle in the center of the glass where water can enter. I washed them and as they were drying I noticed a pool of soapy water in the knob. My husband unscrewed the knobs, dried the water, and put it back together. Now I know I have to be careful when I wash the lids. I would totally return the set if it were not for the fact that I've switched to silicone utensils to solve my need to get away from nickel, and I will just wash the lids carefully so no water gets into that part of the lid. Buy this set for the pots, knowing the lids need special care when cleaning. And toss the utensils. You will love the pots.
