Life changing book!
Absolutely brilliant! A little bit dated at times ie still referring to VHS video recorders etc, but an amazing life changing read that should be compulsory in every home! I’ve learnt so much about survival & security etc, every one should have to read this book!

Well, the philosophy of this book is: you are just given the highest decoration for courage in war in the most remote country. You are brave, handsome, admired by women... but after all those you must to come back to your house because all these things are very pleasant but terribly exhausting, and there begins the real tragedy of heroes as agent 007: you have forgot you have let the gas running free when you come back to your flat, or you think the glass over the table containing concentrated bleach is fresh water, and here comes the real, big disaster and furthermore you are without money for you have been robbed in the Underground by an able pickpocket. This book explains how to avoid these dangers, much less heroical but much more common in ordinary life.

El libro trata el temas como la autodefensa, seguridad en el hogar, como actuar en determinadas situaciones de peligro, hasta la importancia de mantener un cuerpo y mente sanos... todo ello con un único objetivo: sobrevivir.El tengas que aplicar estas técnicas en la vida real ante situaciones de peligro es otra cosa y esperemos que nunca tengas que hacerlo, pero hay cosas que vienen muy bien saber y que si las aplicas harán tu día a día mucho más fácil y llevadero.Si te gusta la supervivencia, eres de los que siempre llevas encima tu kit de supervivencia y crees que la ciudad es un lugar que puede ser tan maravilloso como peligroso, cómpratelo. El saber nunca está de más.¡Ojo! Está en inglés, pero si eso es un problema para ti deberías ponerle solución cuanto antes. El inglés se ha vuelto en algo necesario en nuestro mundo y eso también te puede salvar la vida ;P

I have this in my emergeny/disaster kit.
I bought the newer revised version. One will go into by disaster/emergency backpack and one goes into my wife's backpack. This is also a great tool to teach your kids knots, snare traps, starting fires, store and preserve food. I bought the book "the dangerous books for boys" which gives you and your son/daughter cool things to do with each other. This book is even better. This willhelp my son and I to become closer together and have a ton of fun doing it. Learn how to Fish, make fishing poles, where to find bait, make your own fishing hooks, how to to make a compass, build a radio from coconuts...sorry wrong books. Giligan's Island "The Professor" that was 1 small example. This is the best book I have come across for the subject matter ever.........ever!

O livro aborda técnicas simples de sobrevivência urbana. Muitas informações óbvias e simplórias. Os outros livros do autor são melhores. A grande maioria disponível na Amazon.

Avant même que des ouvrages en français à la rédaction banale sinon douteuse sortis en nombre suite aux attentats de 2015, voici un ouvrage indispensable de JL Wiseman qui complète bien ses précédents opus. Ouvrage de surcroit très lisible sans dictionnaire !
