We just purchased this fan the other day and I’ve got to say we are totally pleased with our purchase. The fan is well-made easy to install Work wonderful and whisper quiet. The great thing about it is you get a remote for the wall an app for your phone and if you have Alexa, it works with Alexa also voice commands. Alexa will control pretty much every function in the Fan. The only function I can’t do as of yet is dim or brighten the ambient light or change the colors of the ambient light, but you can do that through the app or the remote so it’s not a big deal. As far as everything else goes, I’ve never had a fan that has been so quiet. You don’t even hear it running at all. It moves quite a bit of air works wonderfully. If you work it with Alexa I highly recommend it. In fact we will probably be purchasing a second one for another bedroom. The ambient lighting you can change the colors and through the app you have infinite choices of colors and brightness. As far as the regular light for the fan, that’s also dimmable. It has five settings and is incredibly super bright on the highest setting great feature is that it has different levels of white so you can go for a cold white fluorescent to a warm white adjustment feature. There’s one final feature that is on the fan that I have never had never heard of. It’s called I believe natural and I didn’t know what it did, but when you use that setting, it gives you the simulation of being outside with a natural breeze very cool feature. Sometimes when you’re sitting under the fan, you get the same monotonous breeze blowing on you, but this varies the amounts and intensity of airflow, which is very cool. As far as installation, it is a snap the blades snap in with one thumb screw for each of the five blades and as far as hook up, all it requires is a white wire a black wire and a ground. No special wiring required as long as you have a ground up in your receptacle, it’s good to go very easy hook up, the control module within the fan is already wired for you so all you have to do is hook up three wires at the ceiling. You have an off switch at the wall. The fan will work through the remote or the app. Or Alexa. It also has a built-in timer. Forgot to mention the ambient lighting coloring, not only can you change the different colors dim the colors is also functions that will rotate the colors in different patterns and settings. Very cool. Think that pretty well covers it again highly recommend this fan well worth the money . Ed T

Installation & App Setup We decided to install this low-profile fan in the master bedroom, and the process was just as easy as the listing claimed. My husband handled the physical installation without any issues. Once it was up, connecting the fan to the smart app was a completely smooth and hassle-free process. The app itself is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Lighting & Smart Features The lighting options on this fan are absolutely awesome, and the RGB ambient lighting is easily my favorite feature. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and having the ability to easily tune and dim the lights right from the app completely transforms the feel of the room. Performance & Noise I am highly impressed with how well this fan actually cools the room. For a low-profile design, it moves significantly more air than I expected. Best of all, it is completely quiet while running, making it absolutely perfect for a bedroom setting where you don't want a loud motor keeping you awake. Pros: The RGB lighting is awesome and features highly vibrant colors. Moves a surprising amount of air to keep the room cool. Whisper-quiet operation. Easy physical installation. Seamless app connectivity and a user-friendly interface. Things to Consider: Honestly, I have zero complaints about this fan. It does exactly what it promises and looks great doing it!

I love this fan! It is really easy to use! The app and remote make the fan work really well and with the Alexa feature it’s really nice to come home and say hey Alexa, I’m home and the fan and light turn on. The fan is so easy to install even a caveman can do it. The only complaint I have is the light creates a spotlight effect and doesn’t evenly light up the room. I have gotten used to it and by adding lamps in the darker sections of the room it is much more balanced out. Having all the extra features like changing the RGB colors and brightness of the light really adds an extra ambience to the room. Also, with the added benefit of being a DC motor, it is extremely quiet. I am an extremely light sleeper and having the fan turned on even at Max It is very quiet. I love this fan and I’ll be using it in any future homes I get.

Works as advertised. Easy to install. Very sleek, powerful, quiet, and integrates nicely with Google home. True 5 out of 5 rating. We used the shorter rod and it fit perfectly on 8 foot ceiling. We replaced an older master bedroom fan that was on its last leg. And the app allows for extensive customization. Can be set on a schedule to slow down or off for the cooler morning hours. Everything we could ask for in a ceiling fan.

This fan is replacing a Hunter ceiling fan. The Hunter looked nice and worked WHEN it worked. I know it sounds weird. The Hunter kept losing sync with the remote. The company sent me a new receiver but with the same problem, most likely a design issue. I'd come along and hit the remote and nothing. 10-15 minutes later I come along and it's synced. I finally got tired of the SAME PATTERN. And I mention all of this because this Dreo has been rock solid and what a contrast! The fan responds to every remote command. The RGB ring around the light can be turned on and off with or without the main light. After the initial ooh and aah, I'll probably hardly use it though. A big deal is the ability to reverse the direction of the fan from the remote!!! What a novel idea...no more climbing on a chair to reach the fan body or remove the light covering.. The light has several brightness levels AND several color temperature levels...right from the remote. When I first took out the blades, I was initially disappointed that they are made of plastic. But they are really pretty and absolutely balanced. Each one of the five blades is 630 grams. You won't even think they are plastic once everything is set up. They connect to the body in such an easy way! Setting up the fan to the ceiling is a lot simpler than other fans. So, now the gripe. Because the light is flush with the bottom of the body, it acts light a spot light instead of like a room light. Very little side to side brightness. If you increase the brightness to get light to the sides of the room by reflection, it just becomes too bright to tolerate. Luckily, we have a table lamp also so it helps with the overall brightness of the room. It also has a DC motor so very efficient and I will be keeping this ceiling fan. Dreo, if you are listening, change the configuration of the light and you will have a perfect ceiling fan!

The fan is quiet but powerful, the light is bright and customizable. I like that I can control the fan, light, and ambient lighting with Alexa or the remote -- very convenient! This ceiling fan and light was worth the money. We have this fan in our family room (approx 15' x 20') and it does a great job of keeping the room comfortable. I like the versatility with the many fan, light, and ambient light options. It's been a great fit for us. Update: We've had this fan for a while now, and it's very quiet and the most stable fan we've ever owned. I didn't have to put weights on the fan blades to get it balanced. This stays perfectly in balance, no matter what speed I put it on. It's very well engineered. So far, it has worked with Alexa without a hitch... I can turn each feature on/off, set the fan speed, and toggle the lights. Really, the best fan we've ever owned (and we've had quite a few).

I have installed and owned MANY different ceiling fans but this is the best one yet. - Very easy to install - All components seem excellent quality - Whisper quiet and so smooth - Excellent remote control of the fan and light. - Great adjustability of the light brightness and color. On top of all that, it’s an excellent value!

Flimsy and cheap. First of all, the connections for the light cell that connects to the fan is cheap and keeps coming undone. I have to frequently unscrew the light cell to mess with the connection to get the light to work. After a few weeks, the fan now makes a tick noise. It’s insanely annoying. I have to have some white noise on to not hear the constant tick when the fan is on. I’m so tired of cheap stuff. I thought paying a little more would give us a nice light. I was wrong. Don’t buy this ceiling fan/light. You’ve been warned.

I was on the lookout for a good ceiling fan and was really pleased to find one made by DREO. I also have a floor standing DREO fan and it’s superb so I had no hesitation picking this up. I needed an electrician to install the cabling but from there the installation is relatively easy. The only important thing to remember in UK homes is that this has to be screwed into a joist, the plasterboard ceiling itself is not enough. Just go up into the loft beforehand and locate the nearest joist to the centre of the room and use that. We live in a modern home so the ceilings aren’t that high but once mounted it’s fine. I used the included shorter rod for the installation. Once mounted and powered, the fan works straight away with the excellent included remote. The performance of the fan is flawless, smooth, and best of all very very quiet. I put it on fan speed 1 at night and I honestly can’t hear it but it keeps my skin lovely and cool. The fan speed goes up to 6 with the included remote but can go up to 12 from the DREO app. Speaking of the app this is also great. Plenty of functionality to configure the speeds and lighting. It’s also a smart fan so you can use it with Alexa and Google Home which works perfectly. The fan has one central light which can go very bright but can also be dimmed right down. You can also change the colour temp of it from cold white to warm white and a few shades in between. Around the central light is an RGB ring which again can be configured to all sorts of colours and/or animations. Personally I have this set to a very dim orange and use it as a night light. I am 100% happy with the quality and performance of this fan and would absolutely recommend. In addition, if you are not familiar with DREO you need to check them out. Their fans might look pretty standard but they massively outperform fancy looking fans from companies that charge you much more. Don’t be fooled.

Es un ventilador completo muy bien empaquetado, el montaje es bastante sencillo y el sistema colocación de las aspas brillante, encajan en un momento , estamos muy contentos con el desempeño, no es nada ruidoso, la vinculación con Alexa es muy sencilla y rápida. Está marca me gusta no la conocía y nos ha encantado, otro detalle importante es que las aspas son de plástico y al no ser madera, no se convaran con el paso del tiempo, como nos ocurre con el otro ventilador de casa.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Aufbau ist easy, die Blätter werden ohne Schrauben befestigt. Steuerung über Fernbedienung funktioniert problemlos. DREO-App ist genial, damit hat man viel mehr Möglichkeiten als mit der Fernbedienung. Z.B. Zeitpläne sowohl für Licht als auch den Ventilator. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, selbst auf höchster Stufe sehr ruhiger Lauf (kein Gewackel/Unwucht). Auch nach 24 Stunden Dauerbetrieb, keine Erhitzung des Gehäuses wahrnehmbar (im Gegensatz zu unserem alten Ventilator). Nettes Gimmick ist die RGB-Beleuchtung - war aber nicht kaufentscheidend.

Wow, can this fan ever move air! It is the perfect option for a vaulted ceiling (would also work on a flat ceiling). On the lower settings, you don't hear very much - just the subtle sound of moving air if you listen carefully. We sleep with it on 1. You will certainly hear the air moving on the highest settings, but the fan doesn't squeak or grind. My husband installed it without difficulty. The instructions were thorough, but he also knows how to install lights and such. He says it was very balanced straight out of the box. There is no wobble in this unit. We keep the remote in its holder right by the main light switch. There are more settings on the phone app than on the remote. We don't use Alexa or Google spy technology but love the option. The lighting settings are fantastic whether you like warm or cool light tone, bright or dim or somewhere in between, and a huge variety of fun or peaceful RGB options. Overall, great purchase!
