Sally Hansen Wax Kit Wax Strips For Face & Bikini 20 count (Pack of 1)

This product was inexpensive and worked absolutely great! I have never used the home wax kits. Although it came with only six of the double-sided strips (instead of nine) Amazon has already shipped a replacement box. I used them today and couldn't be more pleased. When applied appropriately, I'm not sure how these don't work for people. My skin wasn't even as clean as I thought it was... I use micellar water and thought I had cleansed appropriately. They still worked great and I only found one stray hair which was likely not pressed into the wax near my lip. These are gray and well worth the price!

I liked the old iteration of this and love the new version! They are so convenient and effective. I find the strips a bit large, so I usually cut them and they're perfect. The new nonwarming version can be effectively used a few times with one strip. I have sensitive skin too and haven't had any issues. I'll keep buying until they stop making them.

I bought these as more of an intro to trying waxing, I figured they are cheap enough, if they work well hooray and if not then it wouldn't be much if any of a loss. So I got them, opened them up and was surprised to see that there isn't much wax. Honestly they are a bit more akin to a sticker. Following the instructions to a T they don't take any hair off and instead leave a slightly sticky residue, putting them on and leaving them on for a few minutes so the wax settles more.. same result..only more residue. Leaving them on for a really long time produces the wacky result of the same thing. No hair removed sticky residue left behind.While I am disappointed by the product I'm not surprised. The amount of wax on each strip so little that it can't latch onto the hairs like it needs to in order to really pull them out and even if it were, the goop that they put on the strips is easily softened by body heat. These are no microwave so to warm the wax one is to rub them between their hands before seperating them.Another flaw in the design is that the little wax they put on the strips is shared between 2 strips as they are put together on their faces, making every wax strip inconsistant. One could get all the wax while the other doesn't have any which the one with all the wax still takes less hair than a dollar store sticker or they could be evenish and still totally ineffective.Final review. Not worth the money. Pay a little extra and find something that will work or get a uv hair remover, they are pricey and potentially cause cancer but the world is ending so splurge and make yourself happy with your body.

Ok so as another reviewer said , I purchased this to try because the sally one I usually buy has gone up a lot in price. I knew it was t gonna have the lotion the other one does but I have a lot left over from previous purchases. This one comes with oil wipes that are suppose to remove left over wax. They do work but u only get 4. I use this for eyebrows and lip so 4 large wipes won’t last the life of the wax, This one did what it’s says it will, it is thinner than it’s more expensive counterpart even after I applied 2 layers. It is also a little stringy which I find the other not to be as much. Over all I’m satisfied with my purchase at this price but still would purchase it counter part if its price came down a bit. This is a great reasonable counter option.

Here's the trick for me.. I hit the strips with my blow dryer for less than 20 Seconds. I then pull them apart and apply. I press down seamlessly and hold one end tight. After counting to 10, pull gently in opposite direction and it does pull the hardest and stubborn chin or facial hairs. I always use Trader Joes Argan oil or the packets that come in the box to remove any wax residue. If any remaining strays are somehow still there? I use a tweezer. This is in my bi-weekly routine.

I just hit that age where chin hairs & peach fuzz are starting to show T.TI wanted a quick & easy to use wax strip for the small sparse patches of hairs on my chin & corners of my upper. They look like peach fuzz for the most part. These stripes are small, i tried to show with my finger they are ~2inches long & a little under an 1inch wide. You rubbed the patch together between ur palms to warm up the wax for about 10-15 seconds then split the plastic to produce two useable straps. It took 4 individual strips to go over my chin & super lip on my first try. Next time I am sure 2 will be good. The hair came off easily with minimal pain. The wax did leave my face sticky but the oil wipe took care of that. Personally I don't like that the oil left my face a lil greasy so I washed my face when I was done. The packet says the oil conditions & smooths so I think its supposed to be left on.There are 18 strips & 4 packs of wiped in the box so be mindful if your covering a larger area & have more than peach fuzz this product probably wouldn't work well for you. The box says short hairs but i dont know if the strip is strong enough for denser thicker hairs. I have one dense hair on my jawline that i tweeze, i dont think this would work on it.
