Char-Broil Performance Charcoal 2600, Charcoal Grill, Patented Charcoal Tray, Vent

Took me around 2.5 hours to build by myself (I am not that handy and took my time so others may finish quicker) I have only had 3 BBQ's on it so far but the finished product is superb, it's more expensive than other brands but worth the money in my opinion. I do believe it will last as is really sturdy, not like other flimsy BBQ's that at half the price will last a fraction of the time so makes for false economy.Most of the parts remove for easy cleaning which is another benefit to keep it looking good for some time to come. I have not had it long enough to rate the grill rack, these currently clean very easily after being soaked but just hope the non stick coating lasts (though I an not naive enough to believe it will but one can hope!)The adjustable charcoal tray level is a really simple but so effective design. I love it and can highly recommend it.

Having read the previous reviews I thought we were paying thorough enough attention to ensure perfect assembly! The whole thing was well packaged and all parts seemed to go together very easily, resulting in a good quality, sturdy BBQ. On the final step of sliding in the drip tray, it didn’t sit on the runners and fell down every time we tried to slide it in, it was only a few mm out, but enough to prevent it from staying put! On looking back at step 1 we realised where we had gone wrong…. When fixing the 4 panels of the main BBQ together, you need to make sure that the front and back panels are screwed on to the OUTSIDE of the side panels. The whole thing will continue to go together if you’ve done it the wrong way and you won’t realise until the final step when the tray falls out!I hope this saves someone else from having to completely de-assemble the whole thing to fix something right at the beginning like we had to!We’re yet to use the BBQ but I think it will be great, feels like it is really good quality. Will update once it’s been used!

I've been reluctant to replace my old bbq for a few years despite all the grime and bent metal due to heat stress. This seemed like the best option with a warmer rack and hasn't disappointed in any way. Great build quality and solid feel. The cooking space is excellent with controllable vents and the charcoal tray can raise/lower as needed. Only downsides as I see them, is the warmer rack does not easily detach for easy cleaning and it produces lots of smoke which I think is due to the charcoal tray catching all the fat drips. Coupled mine with a cheaper cover, very very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

This bbq is very sturdy, well made and easy to put together, simple to use and easy to clean, it’s been well thought out, very pleased with this product.

Bought one of these bbqs back in March 2022, only used 3 times last year and then cleaned and covered by one of the recommended high quality covers, just took the cover off to use it and found rust everywhere, having had other bbqs before and never experienced any rusting in the past with even much cheaper brands. So disappointed and the other disappointing fact is that I can’t get hold of the seller by phone, will contact Amazon to see how they can help.

The quality is very poor. Although the barbecue is sturdy enough the quality of some of the parts is poor. I had to replace many locknuts as the original ones did not remain tight.Even worse, is that two of the welded lock nuts on one of the legs were missing all together.Even the CHAR BROIL badge was damaged and I had to drill holes in the lid to fix that.The main problem with this product is that there is so much wrong with it I would have sent it back but after unpacking it and building it, it would have been a nightmare to repack and so heavy to send back.Perhaps, method in the makers madness.I would like a leg with the lock nuts welded on please.

The Bbq was OK to put up but did take few hrs, however one side will NOT fit completely flush, despite disassembling and reassembling, like the side is slightly warped. This means that the Ash catching tray at the bottom will not slide in and out properly as its doesn't sit in the groove on one side like it doesn't quite reach. It will fall out pretty easily when pulling out or putting back in. I have however found a way to get it to stay in whilst in use, so it's usable. The lid is also slightly off to one side due to the same reason. Looks great and I'm sure it will work just fine, just those issues have taken the gloss of what would be a great looking bbq.

Bought this as a bit of a Christmas present to myself. Love the size of it. It was reasonably easy to put together and cast iron is good quality. I oiled thoroughly to help protect it from British humidity but time will tell.However, there were a few bad bits as well:- a bolt was missing- the lid was dented in transit
