Monstrum Cyborg 5X Prism Scope with Shake Awake | BDC Reticle

I have 6 of these, mostly 5x magnification. And I have nothing but good things to say about them! I've had them all for over a year, so I've had plenty of time to use them. Eye relief is a little limited, but I don't know that it is any better/worse than much more expensive options. In my experience, it seems roughly the same because I always complain about eye relief on scopes. :) As for the units' appearance, these things look great! Easy to install, easy to use, plenty bright, and it turns off when you walk away for awhile. Overall, probably the best value 5x Prism Scope on the market. Money is what you pay, value is what you get.

Clear glass, super Sharp reticle. Have not tried the illumination at low light yet. Going to order another one.

Giving 4 stars due to two talking points. The shake awake is only after the unit has manually been powered on in the last two hours. Second, this brick is heavy. Other than that it is a very nice prism optic for the money. It came perfectly focused. Easy adjustment. Functions comparable to a high priced unit. If the two cons aren't an issue go for it.

Great looking optic aesthetically. Magnification seems accurate but sight picture quality was lacking with indoor lighting. Outdoor lighting (cloudy/midday) was extremely clear and sharp. I will need to shoot this indoor/outdoors to give a fair assessment of the glass quality and how well it holds zero. Decent optic for the price!

So far so good. I have astigmatism but this works delightfully. It's chunky but so is my vortex with a single mount.

I have this Cyborg and also the Marksman. Right out of the box this Cyborg hit bullseye at 50 yards. Has stayed sighted in for multiple range trips. 100 yards the reticle isnt as precise as its a bigger chevron type. I like the Cyborg over the Marksman, Cyborg has a little bigger field of view if anyone was debating between the 2. But the Marksman has a nice smaller dot reticle. Also being prism scopes you dont need a battery, the reticle is black and always there. Some people mistake these as "red dot" where you leave both eyes open and have the eye relief farther back, no... this is a scope and has about 3" eye relief. Monstrum products are impressive, I have several scope mounts and they are not any different than some high dollar ones. Good stuff.

When it works its good. First one mounting bolt sheared but was replaced quickly. Second one, only way to adjust the lens to focus is with a pair of grips. Amazon won't refund the first one that was sent back per their instructions.
