Arrived safely but could do with more substantial packing. A little smaller than anticipated but sufficient for my needs. Worked perfectly from the start. Aubergines, Chilies & peppers growing well. Recommended to me by No Dig Norfolk Gardener.

These are Brilliant seed trays and easy to put together. They are good Value, Tested the lights and they worked no problems, tested the current draw and it varied between 2A to 2.4A, So you will need a USB Adaptor that will deliver at least 3A 15W. The USB plug gets warm at this current, To over come this i used a multi output USB Adaptor and ran 3 lights on the enclosed lead and ran the other two separately. They are sturdy and easy to clean. I sowed some Chilli and Bell pepper seeds and after a couple of days they germinated then turned the lights on via home assistant from dawn to dusk and now have good looking plants. Only 4 stars due to USB plug getting warm Pros: Ease the put together Worked out of the box Cons: High current USB adaptor needed USB Plug gets warm I have ordered a second one

Mixed feelings about these. The seedlings did grow faster than those without the UV light, but they all grew towards the centre where the lights are...so the ones in the middle pods were fine, but the ones in the outer pods were very leggy and stretching towards the middle. After a while I dumped the lights and replaced with wand style lights which covered all the seeds more evenly.

Five clear plastic, three part, grow trays. Each of the five trays has 12 holes for seeds/seedling. The bottom is the water catchment tray, and the high top is to give extra room for plants to grow before moving to pots or garden. The top of the combined three units has a dial for air flow and UV light attachment to advance plant growth. Very easy to assemble. They are just the size to fit the square planter and compost / organic growth medium and fit in the unit. Each unit has a MicroUSB connector into the UV light unit. USBa to the UV lights included. Durable to last many seasons. The thickness of the plastic is enough to allow natural light through as well as to retain moisture. I have these lined up on my windowsill with chilli seeds growing. When each reaches transfer height, it is moved to a larger pot and new are put in the growth trays. Very impressed by the tray set.

Wow! Where do I start?! I thought I’d give these a try - for £13 I wasn’t expecting anything long lasting, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are. The bottom trays are very sturdy, and the cells are not paper thin plastic. The lids are a little flimsy, however I don’t think this will be an issue. The grow lights work very well, and after only 4 days my Verbena seeds have started to germinate, which I’m over the moon with. The lights themselves are incorporated into the vents, and are powered by micro usb’s. They are very bright, not sure if they’re full spectrum as I’ve got no way to test this, however the quick germination must mean something. Each tray has 12 cells, and you get 5 trays. They are a nice size and don’t take up too much room. They’re basically plug and play! So easy to set up. I think that these propagators are fantastic value for money!
