Worth The Money
I was looking for a mp3 to use as a purse kindle. I previously bought one from another company, but it felt cheap and plastic. This one is good for the minimum that I need it for… it’s durable, comes with a case and SD card. Has a little lag, but it’s an android, it’s gonna have a little lag. But I like it. I even bought one for my son as well and he’s enjoying it. Totally worth it

More of a mini tablet than mp3 player
Should've gone with this in the first place & saved me a lot of $$ & the hassle of returning anything. It's the best of the players I've gotten so far. The screen is the perfect size for my fingers so I have no problems switching songs. The bluetooth is very stable only a bit choppy here & there if I move a certain way, but mostly stays connected. Like that it's actually more of a mini android tablet than a player. However, it's a different version of Pie that I'm used to (Samsung android) which took some time getting used to, especially since the on-screen buttons -- home, back, recent apps -- can VERY easily be hidden (kind of like windows taskbar) if you're not careful. Sadly, there's no setting that I'm aware of to make them stay permanently on screen. I does come with a lot of music & video apps I don't use it didn't want, but unlike "true" mp3 players these were easily gotten rid of. Because it's a different version of android, you're only able to transfer certain types of files between devices. Took a tad longer to enable dev options because the "normal" method brought up some kind of secret "test" menu that had explanation for what any of the options are. However, once I had dev options enabled, I was able to transfer files from PC to the included SD card once I had it formatted with no problems. All in all, the better option for budget players.Pros:Large screen, but still smaller than a smartphoneVery customizable via file transfer &/or apps from play store.Functions as a mini android tablet.Very stable bluetooth connectionComes with headphones, micro SD card, screen protector & caseCan add apps from play store to truly make it your own.Very reasonable priceCons:Almost as big as a smart phone that's on the smaller side, so not exactly what I'd consider pocket-sized.Version of Pie takes some time to figure out where everything is. Plus it's a kind of hybrid of rooted/non rooted version of android -- root checker said root wasn't installed properly. Can't transfer ALL file types between devicesCan only transfer between devices using Bluetooth or WiFi direct. File sharing apps will not work since they require a camera. No quick share since this isn't an "official" Google android version. No camera, so file sharing apps are out.No dark mode only the hideous yellow 'night light' & 'inverted colors' modes. No themes either so you're stuck with the boring stock white menus & notification bar. Can't change font only the size.

Perfect for music, podcasts and beyond
The media could not be loaded. Bought this player to stream music, audiobooks and podcasts instead of burning my phone battery like I usually do. I was able to download all the apps I usually use: pandora and Spotify for music, podcast player and audible for audiobooks. Then I realized that this is basically like a mini tablet and the functionality far exceeds playing audio - the screen is crystal clear and you can download loads of apps from the Google play store. It arrived almost fully charged and I played podcasts for 2+ hours without running out of battery.

Nice product
When you're used to paying for several generations of very expensive iPods, you learn not to expect much from an inexpensive player. This product is a complete surprise...you literally plug it in, charge it, turn it on, and it is identified as a new device.

Limited functionality
I totally like the idea of a separate device to stream your music to your speakers other than your phone. This one is very sturdy, solidly built but has limited functionality. Most importantly, the processor is slow, so you have to be patient installing apps, changing settings, etc. Secondly the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections are easily dropped with any interference at all. Thirdly, it will not play Apple music because it is a rooted device, a restriction from Apple. Lastly, it relies on a Google account, so it wants to sync, for instance, your contacts, and will do so without your permission, even though there is no use for contacts on the device. I had to install Google Contacts and remove all my contacts from the phone. Finally gave up, reset the device, and am returning it in search for more functionality.

Works
I use it just to listen to music on Spotify. It works well for me. I mean it nothing fancy but just listen to music.
