This was a life-saver for our ling drive from AZ to MT with a packed car! My pup stayed in it for basically 3 days and was comfortable and happy. I could tell she felt safe. I was initially worried it would be in my way while driving, but it wasn't - granted I'm only 5' 2" and the seat was pretty far forward. My pup is about 6.5 lbs, for reference. I should add that we didnt use the straps on the bottom to secure it because our console rolls open and closed, it doesn't hinge open - but I had a small cooler behind the console to give a little extra support in the back, so it wasn't an issue at all. Overall high quality, a good balance of structure/support and flexibility, soft cushions, and cute design. I even used it as a "carrier" at a restaurant patio for dinner and she stayed in it on my lap the whole time.

My dog is about little less than 5lbs apple head chihuahua. My dog is very nervous to ride on car ) but she doesn’t get car sick. She is just scared because she think there is no floor at the bottoms. So I had to hold around my chest but This console car seat is very convenient & game changer.I don’t have to hold her any longer .The narrow width is makes her more secure feeling I guess. Even she fell in to sleep today.the the inner cushion is bit cheap however the price is super cheap I would not complain. I just put more baby blanket.Customer service is wonderful and shipping was super fast.

He used to be in our laps but as you can see, he loves to ride in his seat. This is much safer & more comfortable for everyone. We can give him water, food & treats on the road without wearing it now. Be aware that if not held back by the safety clip, they can reach into the cup holders & get their own snacks lolIt's a bit of a pain to put in the first few times but once you get a system down it's not bad. The elastic has stretched out pretty quick but that's an easy fix.Highly recommend this for traveling with smaller pets. Bax is +/- 12 lbs

This was super easy to put together and my dog loves it! She is a 5 pound mini dachshund and fits great with room to spare. I like that the bottom cushion and extra head cushion easily come out for washing if needed. I saw previous reviews about the cushions not being big enough but ours fit perfectly. We also had a very easy time installing it on my console. We opted to use the console straps and not the headrest straps but both are an option. The only suggestion we had is for the Velcro strip on the straps should be longer or placed in multiple spots since people’s console width varies and that could be an issue but it for mine perfectly! Highly recommend

This was the perfect way to keep our 3-month old kitty close by on a 5-day road trip, but not on our laps. He slept like a baby in it and rested his head on the little attached pillow at the front. We secured the straps to the head rest posts. Highly recommend. The car is a Subaru Outback.

Some parts I liked and some parts I did not. The pillow that is supposed to go inside doesn’t really cover the whole bottom so my dog falls between the cracks (he is very small.). Then I have a bigger car so the middle console is larger and the straps don’t fit around it. I am getting some extended Velcro hopefully that will work. Then the straps that go up to the headrest are a little cumbersome… My husband doesn’t like it when he is driving.

Perfect for our 7 pound Yorkie.Easy to install. Padded head rest.Has 4 straps that wrap around the console lid and two that attach to the head rests on either side. A built in restraint to attach to your dogs harness.It is not advisable to connect to a neck collar in the event of an emergency stop or collision a chest harness is the safer choice.

Our Yorkie loves this thing. He can see what’s going on as he rides in the car. We have a 2016 Kia soul. Only problem is we had to add a non-slip mat underneath it to keep it from sliding around, obviously. Also, the surface that it sits on is not quite large enough. We had a travel mug that no one used that we put in the cupholder. That’s the perfect height to hold up the front end of it if that makes sense. Been using it a lot for a month and it’s holding up well.
