really like that is is fully waterproof and has a thick silicon coating on it. Very bright as well. Great purchase for the price

You'll need to buy a power supply but it's very bright.

There are lines to cut every 2.5cm but you have to peel back the silicon on the bottom to see them.

I've written quite a few reviews for Alitove product, so I'll be short/sweet about the brand itself: good and reliable product, not the most expensive, but not so cheap that they're cutting corners or shipping junk. Not as well known a brand as some others in the space, but I've never had a bad experience with their LEDs. Don't have any concerns about buying their product.The nice thing about 24v strips is that you can do much longer runs without power injection, LED dimming, or super-thick wires. So when I wanted to run a strip of warm white under a very long section of deck railing, this was the solution I turned to. And it worked out great - although of course I had to source my own power supply and ensure it put out the right amount of amps, was itself IP67/IP68 rated, and the connection to 120v was waterproofed as well. Alitove recommends their own power supply, of course, but any 24v power supply that is rated for at least 5A/120W should work (and waterproof, if used outdoors).These would also work well in damp environments, maybe one where there could be splashes, like under-cabinet lighting. The uses are many, especially with warm white.

I used this to add lighting to a utility trailer. The width of the strip is slightly smaller than the thin top edge of the wood panels on the walls, so I ran it along that top edge of all the wall panels. It provides a beautiful uniform light without any harsh bright spots like other led strips. Enjoy.

UPDATING MY ORIGINAL REVIEW AS THESE ARE FRANKLY A HAZARD. Originally tested with a 2A supply I had on-hand and all was seemingly well. The listing states rated for 120W, however I proceeded to plug mine into a UL listed 60W power supply and it immediately started melting the DC connector within 5 minutes and the LED strip itself was quite warm to the touch. Tried to contact support but they have no contact information listed on Amazon outside their website. Wire gauge is simply unsuitable for such high currents. Returning immediately.These are nice lights with good luminosity and durability. I have mounted them to an outdoor pavilion/bar on a sunset timer and they look great. Only complaint is the adhesive is a bit weak on porous materials like wood, ended up having to tack up the ends so it wouldn't fall. But it would still much better to painted drywall so if that's your use-case I don't see any issues. Also wish it came with a power supply, a suitable 60W UL listed power supply is going to cost another $20 or so, so be wary of that.

I got this strip in the warm white color which I prefer, and like that it is a DC strip and its intensity can be dimmed by adjusting the supplied voltage.No controller or power supply is included with the strip, just a barrel connector on one end. I found that it started to illuminate at 15V and increased in brightness smoothly as supplied voltage was increased.At 24V, the 10m strip drew 4A for 95 wattsAt 30V, the 10m strip drew 6.9A for 207 watts. *** for brief testing purposes only, though it survived.The strip can be trimmed at regular intervals around every 3". It is flexible and has a soft silicone diffuser on the front. I really appreciate that it is waterproof, and the adhesive has been holding it up on a sheet metal building outdoors through rainstorms. The individual LED beads can't really be seen unless you get up close to it, otherwise it looks like a continuous strip of light, thanks to the COB design. They really add a lot of visibility behind my shed, even when dialed down to only consume 10 watts.I'm pleased with the robust construction and flexible lighting output of this LED strip, Much better than the old 110V rope lights which I've used in the past, with their tendency to develop dark sections and higher voltage leading to burnouts and meltdowns.These ALITOVE COB LED strips are a winner!
