Easy setup, good quality, use it in the winter to keep the utility warm, easy to clean ... what's not to like?

I've been using this item for a little over 8 months now. I do one load of laundry a week and it's the first time I've had to change the filter. This came with 4 of them so it is going to last me a long time! It's very easy to clean, sliding the water tray is nice and smooth. I am using a different vent hose for mine as I bought one separately as I didn't know it came with one. I've had no air leaks but the room does go up a few degrees using this item. Which I was using it over the winter so I didn't mind, but now that summer is almost here it's more noticeable. Still perfect for my situation though where I can't vent outside from my dryer!

I heat my house with a wood stove and it gets very dry in the winter. This indoor dryer vent would essentially kill two birds with one stone. It will recapture the heat from the dryer and redirect it to my living quarters, as well as put needed humidity in the air.Unfortunately it is made of not-so thick plastic. For the price of $43 dollars, I would expect something I little more sturdy. Since my use case is to have it in the hallway where it can get accidentally kicked, it may not be a good fit for me. On the other hand, if I was to permanently mount it on the wall (as the instructions state), it is probably sturdy enough.Assembling it was trivial without even looking at the instruction. However, I do want to point out that the instructions were wanting. The copy I received had all of the paragraphs and titles are cut off on the left. In other words, the first letter (or two) are cut off from the first word on every line. No big deal, but I thought I would mention it.Over all... so so.

Was skeptical at first but took a chance and gave it a try and boy was I impressed! Definitely filters out a lot of lint in the air through the water trap and recycling. The heat back into the home was so helpful this winter. So easy to install and maintain. The quality of the build is also to be commended, this is well constructed and designed

The vent is pretty large and holds a bunch of water. Was able to more than 5 loads done and the tank is still half full. The dust filters are cleanable if you vacuum them or just buy replacements. My only gripe with this vent is it’s not completely smooth around the inlet which allows air to escape out. I wrapped with some foil tape to seal it but seems like a design flaw. Otherwise works perfect.Update: it’s been atleast two months of use and this thing is working fantastically. i saw the other reviews on this product and assume people are installing it incorrectly or have no idea what theyre doing. I’m not paid or sponsored. there’s a guy complaining his water drawer keeps blowing out and i find that wild. Tape it shut if for some reason your dryer is blowing at hurricane 5 speeds. Also for the lady with the spill…don’t over fill it…there’s a fill line.

I was so excited to get this, since we have no place to vent our dryer. We have tried other kinds and we just get a lot of lint all over the laundry room, and it gets so warm we have to leave outside door open. This one works a lot better, has a filter to catch the lint. It is not as warm but still gets humid so we still leave the door open while using the dryer. You have to keep water in the tray, which isn’t that hard. But the water drawer keeps coming open? I don’t know why, there is a vent that should come open when air comes through, sometimes it doesn’t open so I open it, but the water tray still slides open. Guess I will try to tape it shut. But I still like this one better.

So easy to change the water. Venting the dryer inside has made my house so much warmer this winter. Love this design so easy to change filter and the water.

We live in a thirty-year old house before stackable washer/dryer machines were popular. Our laundry room configuration was small and not designed for front load machines. In order to stack the machines, the vent was on the opposite side of the washer and we could not figure how to stack the machines without trying to run the vent hose for 15-20 feet. Then we found this vent kit. It works great! Granted, the laundry room gets a little warm so don't close the door, let some ventilation get to your laundry room. I now have so much room in my laundry room being able to stack my washer and dryer.
