Tell you what...I was a little concerned when I saw the box and it was not as big as I thought it would be. So I got it out, did some minor, very easy assembling, and away I went. This thing is AMAZING!! I do believe it will suck the devil out of hell! Cleaned car carpet better than our local car wash. Used it on some furniture too. As well as the distressed chair rail on our living room walls. Gotta say that I am VERY impressed with the vacuuming power so far. Time will tell if it lasts tho...

I've been using the Vacmaster Professional Beast Series 5-Gallon 5.5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum for a few months now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best shop vacs I've ever owned. Performance: The suction power is outstanding. Whether it's sawdust, drywall debris, or water from a small leak, this vacuum handles it all with ease. The 5.5 Peak HP motor lives up to the "Beast" name – it's incredibly strong and efficient. Portability & Size: Despite its powerful motor, the unit is compact and lightweight enough to move around the garage, workshop, or even up stairs without any hassle. Noise Level: For a vacuum this powerful, it’s surprisingly quiet. It’s not silent, of course, but it’s much less shrill than other wet/dry vacs I’ve used. Versatility: I love that it handles both wet and dry messes seamlessly. It's been a game changer for car detailing and cleaning up around the house and garage. Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a compact, powerful, and well-built wet/dry vac, the Vacmaster Beast is a fantastic choice. It's earned a permanent place in my workshop. Highly recommend!

This vacuum is a beast. I was surprised at the suction and power it has. I am renovating my bathroom, everything torn down to the subfloor and studs. The vacuum has been going hard at sucking up broken tiles, mortar, sawdust, joint compound pieces and a lot of dust from sanding. I used it on my car and garage floor as well. The flat blade attachment is my favorite, it really sucks to the floor. Drag it across and it pulls up all the dust particles with a clean look again so I don't have to worry about the next layer in the floor or wall being free of dirt. The cord length is long enough I put it across the room and still able to reach where I want, even the hose is long. The vacuum itself feels kinda heavy but not so much I can't just pick up with one hand and move it around easily. It's like a heavy because it's solid/quality feeling instead of light/cheaply made thing. It's easy to unclip the top off and open it. The only thing I probably missed is that it's not bagless as I thought it was. It has a nice big filter inside that I happened to find at a Walmart so I can just replace easily if needed and maybe I don't need the bag. But for now, the bag in it is probably stuffed from what I've been doing and hasn't lost any suction power at all. This vac was also a recommendation from my dad, so that's why I got it. He liked it, and now I do, too.

I spent a lot of time comparing shop vacs before buying this one, and I'm glad I did. If you're worried that 5 gallons won't be enough, don't be. This thing has some serious suction. It picks up everything from fine dust to larger debris without breaking a sweat, and it has more than enough power for cleaning the garage, detailing your car, or tackling projects around the house. One thing I really appreciate is that it's compact. Sure, you can buy an 8, 10, or 12 gallon shop vac for a similar price, but those get heavy fast. This one is much easier to carry, store, and move around, especially with the smooth rolling caster wheels. The build quality is excellent. Nothing feels cheap, the hose is sturdy, the power cord is a good length, and the included fine dust collection bag is a nice bonus. I was also pleasantly surprised by the noise diffuser. It's still a shop vac, but it's noticeably less harsh than others I've used. If I had two small complaints, I'd love to see the accessory tools lock onto the hose instead of just friction fitting, since they can occasionally pull off with the amount of suction this thing has. A drain plug for emptying water would also be a nice addition. Neither issue is anywhere close to being a deal breaker. One tip that made this vacuum even better is picking up an inexpensive accessory kit. There are plenty of universal kits that add longer hoses, detail brushes, crevice tools, and other attachments that really expand what this vacuum can do for not much money. Overall, this is one of those products that actually lives up to the hype. Powerful, compact, well built, and reasonably priced. I'd buy it again without hesitation.

The suction is fantastic. The weight is nice, so not too hard to drag around. The price was right! There are only 2 things I don't like about it: There is no bag to hold the accessories. They DO store inside nicely (except for the long hard plastic hose part) which has a little holdy place molded to the outside of the machine...which doesn't work well at all at holding the pipe. Think about it though, if you want to store all the gadgets inside, it is going to get really nasty if you use it often. So, I'd rather have some sort of canvas draw-string bag to hold ALL the accessories. The 2nd thing I don't like is the hard pipe that you would use to say, vacuum a floor while standing up. It's SO SHORT, like 24" +/-. Unless you are a toddler, this is not going to go well. They should send 2 of these pipes to fit together, or at least OFFER the option to buy it right in their ad. So using this on the floor as a vacuum, (we bought this for our RV), is not really an option unless you buy the 2nd pipe piece. I sew, I should just make myself a little canvas bag to hold my own accessories as I'm sure if one were provided it would probably be just "ok" .

Better than a larger rigid. I LOVE this vac. Only thing I’d change is addition of one more solid extender so you can stand upright whilst using on a floor. Great value- price for what you get. It works for dry and wet and changing between the two is easy. This will last for a long time. Small and strong. Well built. Handsome even. Sturdy material that you can use for any need you have! Easy to store all the additional implements. Love this vac. I’m not compensated for this vac, just super stoked to have my research pay off.

If Amazon would allow zero stars that is how I would have rated Vacmaster. Terrible product and the Vacmaster customer service is as bad as the vacuum. Originally purchased one in August 2025. The seal between the motor/lid and lower container would not seal blowing dust everywhere. Contacted Vacmaster they send a replacement which took about a month. The replacement Vacmaster they sent the motor overheated with minimal use. I had to unplug it before it caught fire, it smelled electrical hot like it was going to caught fire. I sent in a request to the company to refund my purchase amount, I also provide the Amazon purchase information. After one week zero response back from Vacmaster, I called them. I took pictures of the unit model and serial number and took a video of the vacuum struggling to work. While on the phone the rep admitted there was no fix for the dust leaking from the top and lower unit (which also occurred with the replacement unit). I did put the vacuum out in the trash, the rep told me there was nothing they would do as I through the vacuum away. Even when they had the documentation of the second vacuum they sent. I told the rep I had photos of the units serial number and model number to reference the second unit they sent and a video of the vacuum overheating to the point of nearly catching fire. They admitted and knew about the dust leaking problem and said they won't fix it. In my opinion the rep did not care that Vacmaster sold a product that potentially could have caught fire. As I said terrible product with worse customer support from Vacmaster.

This shop vac really is a beast, and such a convenient size. Considerably more suction than the 5HP Rigid vacs I have. Also, with the ability to run with a filter for big cleanups, sans filter for wet jobs, and even with a bag for the majority of jobs, it’s much more versatile than any other I’ve had.

I was looking for a small but powerful vacuum and this one is truly a beast and has a lot of a suction. It does a superb job on my car's carpet. Only downside is the locking tabs get loose easily if accidently touched so the vacuum head gets not secured to the bottom canister. Overall very please with this purchase.

Tbh I wasnt sure what to expect but its a beast of a machine. I use it for mobile detailing. Lots of suction. The blower is pretty strong aswell. This vacuum has been used aswell as an extractor and very easy to switch from dirt to water filter. The only con i would say it's the slots where you put the attachments can be loose but def not a game breaker. Beast of a machine. 💯💯💯

An excellent vacuum for flooded carpets. I extracted my parents basement carpets with it after it flooded. Very impressed with its lift power. (82”) I will definitely buy it again when I wear it out.
