Only at the trying around the house stage but hard to see how these sandals won't become a favourite. The foot bed is comfortable and spongy and the construction appears to be sound and durable. For someone who can't wear normal footwear they're a boon. Sure they're a bit 'sporty' but relatively feminine when compared with other offerings. The straps are cushioned on the underside so despite being quite thin are well padded for comfort. Regarding the problem with smell-it's inevitable with this type of sandal...Merrell sandals are the same. It's not just because of the foot sweating (as they have good ventilation) but the compound used for manufacturing the soles seem to have a very distinctive smell. In any case the fabric straps make the sandal easy to clean and are waterproof for Summer activities. Size wise I'm usually an 8 but the 8.5 fit just fine. They're a C/D fit width-wise with the front straps done up fairly firmly so would easily accommodate a wider foot. The ankle strap placement isn't ideal, it would be more comfortable if attached further forward on the sole. Excellent colour choice, I bought the Grape Shake (a lovely deep lilac) and the Macaw (quite a bright, pale green), of the two I preferred the lilac.

These are great sandals. I have been buying this brand and this particular style for about 20 years. They never disappoint. I have many pairs in different colours and have introduced them successfully to most of my friends. They are so comfortable, need no wearing in and are very hard wearing. They are colourful, practical, feminine, but are also fashionable. I wear mine all year round because they are so comfortable. It is hard to take them off even if it snows! I love them also as they are great in wet weather as they dry quickly and do not get all squishy like trainers etc do. I have mobility problems and the professionals always comment what great sandals they are to wear for people with my problems. This pair are particularly nice as they are made up of several different colours. I love them. Highly recommend

I was looking for a replacement for the Vionic sandals I love but are discontinued.i had read excellent recommendations about Teva. I have plantar fasciitis and need a proper arch support and foot bed. The recommendations were correct. These are extremely comfortable, well made, and have excellent support. I have been wearing them for a week and haven’t been disappointed. I really like the adjustability of all the straps which make them fit perfectly to my feet. Sizing is accurate. I’m a UK 8, but occasionally in other brands take a 7. The size 8 is perfect.

I bought these walking sandals to wear on a holiday in the USA where we will be doing alot of walking so I needed something that would allow my feet to breath, is washable but most of all comfortable! This sandal is all of those things and more. the sole cushions and supports my foot beautifully, they are fully adjustable to allow for "hot foot swell", they dry very quickly when they get wet and they are soooo comfy, I haven't even had to "wear them in"!!! For anyone reading the other reviews before you buy....the ankle strap & heel support look a bit wierd when you get your first look at them! They are, however, a very comfortable fit (after the inevitable fine adjustments one has to make with velcro strapped, fully adjustable sandals!) I haven't had any problems with rubbing or blisters. The other thing some people have said is that they pong a bit when your feet get hot. I have not had this problem so far..... Update: I have worn these sandals for all of my 2 week holiday in california and they have been extremely comfortable, even in the heat. They cleaned up well when washed under the shower or in a river and dried really quickly even when still being worn! I must also say I've not had an issue with offensive foot smell during this holiday either. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was recommended these, but sadly had to return. The colour is lovely, a muted olive green. The sole is soft and comfortable. However, the design means the ankle strap wraps around quite high around the front of the ankle, and the velcro strap is just about long enough, so I fear that after a long walk, any minimal swelling will make it uncomfortable as the strap will feel tight. This could have been resolved if the strap had an added elastic area to make it stretchy, like other designers do. I've gone for a Fitflop sandal instead, as they have more stretch

Perfect sandals. Great quality and sturdy for summer walking

First pair of walking sandals I have owned. Strap is slightly high around ankle but still very comfortable to wear. I live in a hot country so these are much nicer to wear than trainers or boots. Very happy with purchase. True to size and colour.

Incredible walking shoes will never buy an alternative have them in multiple colours

I wanted to wait a few weeks before reviewing these, as I always have problems with shoes not being wide enough. These are wonderful! The fit is adjustable in three places (velcro) across the top/ankle. The footbase is a rubber material, but very cushiony and shock absorbing. Bought these for extended walking/light hiking days. So happy I did!

I needed a very adjustable sandal. This one fits very well.

If you are looking for a good cushioned sandal then try these out as they are awesome.

Not enough arch support. Seemed a bit flimsy.
