Amazing
My cat had multiple spots of matted fur when I purchased this comb. Not only was it able to get those out, it also took out a LOT of undercoat that was loose. The photo attached is after 10 minutes of combing him last night. I'm hoping that with regular combing, his skill will feel less irritated and the dandruff will go down. I have to say, this comb is amazing. I LOVE that it has two different sizes. I had to use both to get the maximum effect for my boy. And the handle is very comfortable. I specifically wanted a comb that didn't have the typical comb shape. This did the trick! I would absolutely recommend and would buy again.

Works very well!
Excellent comb - I have a Havanese/poodle and a Shih-Zhu/Bichon and it gets through knots and leaves their coats nice and soft. I love the dual sides and that one has thinner/tighter tines so you can get the coat smoother. I do still use a flea comb to get their eyes/faces but this comb is great all over their little fluffy bodies!! Love it!

Easy to handle -- the two different sized combs are great!
We just adopted a very curly doodle and were told by our groomer we needed a much finer comb than we used for our other dog. This works perfectly -- I can switch comb sides and use it as a pick, a detangler, and for removing leaf bits and other crumbs from nature my dog accumulates in his fur. Excellent product and reasonably priced.

Perfect for my Cat
My cat is a little crazy she likes to be combed with a fine tooth comb (most cats run, not this crazy girl). I use this to keep her hairballs down to a minimum. I used the side which has tight bristles. It works perfectly, it loosens her dander but she likes it. What can I say. Nice sturdy comb.

Using this comb makes grooming easier and won't hurt your pet.
This is a very nice comb. My cat was so matted because she wouldn't come out of the basement for almost a month (she's 19 and a little wacky). When she finally surfaced I knew I had to do something. She doesn't clean herself very well and combing her is usually out of the question. But after a few strokes through her fur, she actually settled down and let me finish. I think she found it very soothing.

1-1/8" pins work well on a Samoyed
I bought this double-sided comb to groom a Samoyed. The pins on the comb would be described as "fine" and "medium" for most brands - definitely not for flea and flea dirt removal (which is evident from the product photo). I love being able to switch from fine to medium by simply turning the handle. The comb measures 8" from end-to-end - soft purple plastic handle is 4-1/4", the pins make up 3-7/8"; pins are all 1-1/8" long. I use this all over the dog but found I like it best to comb through feathering on the backs of front legs and the hocks where I don't need to comb through a wide swath of coat. The 3-7/8" width also makes it easy to comb the top of the head and around the face without catching the longer fur of the ruff. I was worried the plastic handle would wear quickly but I've had the comb for a about a month now and it still looks brand new despite my tendency to grip the comb very tightly. ***Edited to add*** The "fine" side of the comb works well on my Maine Coon cat. He's shedding and a quick combing keeps a ton of his fur from floating around the house.

Great brush for Maine Coon
Got this for our Maine Coon because I needed something that would loosen up any mats or debris (wide tooth) and then detangle the rest (fine tooth) without cutting and ripping out his glorious undercoat like a furminator type of brush does. Originally I purchased a smaller cat comb of similar design but our "kitten" quickly went from 4lbs to nearly 11lbs in about 3 months. So I needed something larger. This comb has been perfect. Once a week I do a quick pass through with the wide tooth side to loosen the big tangles and pull out debris (his coat is velcro I swear) then a more careful brushing with the fine tooth side to fully remove any tangles and he poof he is good to go. Please note: this is not a flea comb, do not purchase it for that. Also, as someone that has been there and done that, trying to brush a long haired cat or a cat with a thick coat with a flea comb is not only ineffective but usually painful to the cat because the comb gets "stuck" too easy due to the super close teeth. So, if you have fleas, I'd really recommend attacking the source of infestation rather than trying to hunt the little buggers down one at a time off your cat. Just my two cents...

It's quite large
It looked small in the ad like the one I was trying to replace, so while the quality is good it's not what I was looking for for my Yorkies.

We have a full grown rough collie (like Lassie, so a lot of fur) and this comb works great for getting right deep into the fur to de tangle any hidden knots that other combs might miss or just brush the surface of. I notice a huge difference in our dog’s fur just after the first use of this comb. It’s pretty well a perfect grooming tool and I highly recommend for long haired dogs. The only small thing I notice, is that it’s not very ergonomically friendly. This is really the one and only thing I wish could be better about this comb. It’s a bit uncomfortable on the hands, even more so for my mom who has arthritic hands. I can feel where I have a few blisters developing already and I’ve maybe only used the comb for about 15 minutes at the most. Not a huge deal to me, I just wish that aspect of it could be improved. The most important thing to me is that it works great for keeping our dog’s coat healthy. Overall, I do highly recommend this comb if you have a long haired furbaby.

Our Lab has had a mat of fur on each check of her rear that I haven't been able to get rid of. I have tried everything short of shaving. I saw this double sided comb & decided to give it a try. Within minutes I was able to untangle & then get rid of the matted fur. Excellent product. Thank you

It’s a great comb for my goldendoodle. I have one similar but has no handle, and this one has a soft handle, make it easier to hold even when my pooch is squirming.
