We got our girlie a muzzle to prevent her from eating yucky stuff on our walks and just to muzzle train just in case she may need one in stressful events in the future such as the vet, etc.The picture attached is of the size 3, but it was too small for her to adequately pant in it, so we upgraded to a size 5 which fit her much better. She is small (13 lbs) with a long snout. This muzzle is adjustable and stays on well. It’s sturdy and good quality. We gave the smaller one to a family member for their chihuahua and it held up great during a stressful vet visit.

This muzzle is a terrible fit for my Pembroke Welsh Corgis. The strap is too short to go comfortably around their necks. I ordered a size 5 for my 30 pound dogs, which is roomy around their muzzle, but adjusting the strap to its maximum still chokes them when it is buckled. I have used a similar brand in a size 5 in the past and the strap offered a fine fit. I wish I could find that brand again.

The Baskerville dog muzzles are very nice and sturdy. They hold up well and the size 2 fit my Yorkshire Terriers perfectly. My puppies and now my dogs foraged and scavenged on our walks every moment. And no matter how I tried to teach them about “drop it” just never worked. They started thinking “drop it” was a game we were playing. One of them ate something and became very ill. Having to spend several nights at the emergency vets. I wish I would have used them before I learned my lesson.My Yorkies don’t try to take the muzzles off. And have adjusted very well with having to use them. I don’t know if I will ever not have to use them. It only takes a few seconds for dogs that forage foreign items to get something and swallow it.

This stops my dog from eating poop and still allows him to drink water. It fits well once the straps were adjusted and the size chart was accurate. It’s tough to get the strap to release as the catch is small and tough. It comes with a removable piece, I assume to stop the dog from squishing poop through the grate to eat it, or maybe that’s just what my dog does. I immediately lost that piece so wish it had come with a spare. My dog looks pretty cool in it but I have to keep explaining that he’s not vicious, just a poop eater.

Does what it’s supposed to. The lock switch is a pain in the @$$ as many have mentioned and it being plastic makes it not the most durable muzzle. Overall I’m pleased with it.

Size 1 fit well for my chihuahua. And he’s a rather big boy for his breed. Stays on unlike others I had tried. Function well for keeping him from nipping while getting bathed. He didn’t seem uncomfortable and the value was reasonable

Might be perfect if I could open it. So frustrating. I used an earlier version for years with no problems. This is going in the garbage. The company knows it’s defective; they have a set of directions buried on their website. I got it open once using them. Several people walk my dog. They will not be able to use this, having only two hands each. I obviously cannot donate it. Too late to return it. Total waste of money and plastic.
