HP New 15.6" FHD G8 Laptop, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD(512GB PCIe & P500 500GB External), AMD Ryzen 5 5500U 6-core Processor(Beat i7-1165G7), Ethernet Port, HDMI, SD Card Reader, Windows 11 Pro

So far the laptop has performed flawlessly. It seems to be well constructed and i like the Windows 11Pro. The built in speakers are also plenty loud.

I had to purchase a new laptop so I could work as mine was stolen. After talking to a number of people and having them read all the specifics we came to the conclusion that this laptop would be a good one for what I needed. It arrived in good condition it worked as soon as I powered it up etc. but I did not receive the extra memory which was promised when I purchased it. I was told that I have to “claim it“ to receive it and I would receive it in a separate package but I did claim it when I made the purchase initially and still didn’t receive it and to this date I have not received the extra memory. then last week, after only having this laptop for three months the power cord has stopped working on it I’ve tried it on another device and it’s the power cord not the computer. It has not been dropped broken or anything so there’s no excuse for it not to work. i’m hoping that HP will honor their warranty but I don’t hold out much hope after seeing some of the other reviews and then seeing that HP states the laptop is out of warranty. When I decided to purchase this laptop there wasn’t the note underneath the listing stating that this was a frequently returned item or I would’ve never purchased it. Somebody’s running a scam and making money off a product that doesn’t even hold out for three months after you get it. Stay tuned because there may be a follow up to this review after I speak to someone at HP or Amazon or whoever it is I need to talk to to get them to rectify the situation

Computer works OK. Had to reset the entire thing before I even finished setting up.. hope it was a fluke. The SSD was not in the package with the computer. I have to "claim" it after. If something is listed on a listing, inshouldnt have to order it separately. I did order it, and STILL have not received it.

HP NEWEST WORKS PERFECT AND THE SELLER IS AMAZING ON ANSWERING ANY TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT AND THIS SELLER!!! BRAVO!!!

Listed as 1TB SDD but actually contains 512GB drive. You have to request other 500GB drive separately. Still trying to get mine.... Also USB C does not support connection to second monitor.

I’ve had this for 3 months and it keeps crashing! It hasn’t been damaged at all, but it will crash with an error code and need to reboot. Can hardly get anything done.Update: company reached out and resolved the situation and sent me a new computer that is now working flawlessly! It did take a few weeks, over a month to get a new system.

Appears to be a good product and it should well.

My grandniece loves this laptop. She says it has everything she needs for school.
