The RTNLIT Desk Lamp Clamp is strong, sturdy, and holds perfectly. The 1/2 inch size fits my lamp just right, and the grip feels secure without damaging the surface. Great quality and very reliable—just what I needed!

It is replacing the part from a previous lamp. The original lamp piece was plastic so it broke. This one is heavy duty metal with a real vice grip.

I bought this to replace the in-box clamp that came with my Bostitch desk lamp because it was awful, and this clamp is miles better. Now my lamp doesn't wiggle around in the base and fall to the floor (especially helped by the screw that PERFECTLY fits into the notch on the lamp), and it also grabs the very narrow edge of my desk far better than the factory clamp did.

I don't know if this will affect other buyers but, I wish the holes where you put the lap was deeper. The lamp I bought this for doesn't sit fully down inside the clamp, which makes it a little more precarious.

The clamp is very sturdy but very poorly designed. I have 2 lamps with 1/2” mounting posts. The clamp has several mounting holes and none of them fit my lamps. Two were too small, one was too large and the third, vertical hole, had a plastic insert that made the hole too small for my lamps. Fortunately, I have a 1/2” drill and was able to enlarge the plastic insert so the lamp mounting posts would fit.

These clamps are Excellent! I purchased two to replace the molded plastic ones that came with my desk lamps, which are mounted on my bed frame! The included ones were (crap)! Thank you! Cheers

The clamp works pretty well, but my lamp did not quite fit into the hole in the clamp. I had to drill the hole out just a little. Once I drilled the hole out making it larger, my lamp fits and the clamp works fine.

The cushioning foam disintegrated on first clasp. Messy
