PSVANE Horizon Series 12AX7-AT Vacuum Tubes for Amplifiers, ECC83 Preamp Tubes, Matched Pair

Sounds really good as v1 in a 20 watt orange and also v1 in a Soldano Astroverb. Nice and full for a modern production 12AX7, but still has a great high end with a good gain.

I am not a tube expert, I don’t “roll” a lot. I had one channel on my amp start being weaker sounding and looked on Amazon for a well rated solution. I can say, I am quite satisfied with the sound after replacing the originals. Thank you!

I've been tube rolling my ProJect Phono preamp for a while now. I love it, but wanted to experiment with different tubes. I was wondering if I could hear much difference between tubes, and if so, did it really matter? Yes and YES! I've been down the Vintage Used, NOS, New Issue roads, and most were different, but mainly just different flavors of "That's Nice." Then I hit on the 12AX7 Horizons. Boom~! The sound jumped and everything I heard was just locked into place with a depth the others didn't have. I am an audio professional and I am picky enough to drive other people nuts at times. That's what I get paid for. Of course, everybody's ears different, but if you are searching for a unique 12AX7 sound, I'd suggest that you try these. Have Fun!

I actually had a totally different purpose for these tubes…I installed them in my Yaqin MS-23B phono stage. I absolutely hated them….way too bright and made records unlistenable. I then decided to try something…I swapped the vintage Tungsram 12AX7s out of my main amp, a Yaqin MC-13S, and put these Psvanes in their place, and the Tungsrams went into the phono stage. Bingo! These tubes, coupled with a pair of 1950s RCA black plate 12AU7 and a quad of Psvane EL34-UK, work well in my amp, the Psvanes add detail that the amp never had before, without being brash. My system sounds better than ever. I may try a quad of the Horizon EL34s to see if I can take my system to the next level. Great job, Psvane!!!

Some of the best modern tubes in their price range!

In my amp (Glow Amplifier Two), only the NOS EI's I found beat them. They're clear, rich and warm. :)

Work great in my tube amp! Put the supply Chinese tubes to shame. Was worried about overdriving amp but came out like crystal.

Habe einen Aiyima t20 in Verbindung mit 2 A20 und 2 10A Netzteilen.Standart Röhren raus uns neue rein und was soll ich sagen, genau das hat gefehlt. Die Horizon bringen richtig was im Tiefton und Mittenbereich, das was bei den Standartröhren gefehlt hat. Ich bin jetzt richtig zufrieden, jetzt ist wirklich eine ausgeglichene Harmonie zwischen den Höhen und den tieferen Frequenzen. Es war vorher nicht schlecht aber ich habe gemerkt, dass es Untenrum was fehlte, das Volumen hat gefehlt, die Komplettheit. Die vorherigen waren sehr fein und analytischer, auf eine Art schön zu hören doch diese animieren sich zu bewegen, echt schön. Fuer ein solches Upgrade 70€ halte ich fuer vertretbar, auf jedenfall ein Gewinn und man hört es. Bin glücklich 😎

Ottime! Tra le varie 12ax7 di nuova produzione provate queste sono notevolmente le migliori, le adoro! Montate sul Pre Valvolare Aiyima T20 e sostituiti tutti i 5 OpAmp con i Muses02, sublime!!! Appena acquistata altra coppia :D Le consiglio per ascolto audiofilo. Saluti, Manuel
