Works very well

I bought this because it has two in one screen viewing option. Also it’s magnetic, so no difficulty applying to Mac and protects the screen. But even though both these features works great. The bottom half of the screen may be lifted/bent. What this means is that it won’t press/ rest on the screen as intended, which can be annoying as it can affect your viewing quality. Usually I wouldn’t care for this and keep it down with tape or something, but if I’m paying £50-£100+ for a screen protector, I expect better. Otherwise I’ll just buy a stick on screen protector. But all in all, great screen cover, minus the small fault. 4/5 stars for me

This product is just OK. I like the way it reduces glare on the screen, and privacy wise it does a decent job. It does as you'd expect reduce brightness, but not to problem levels. It fits well to my Macbook Pro 2016 15", it does prevent the Macbook from fully closing, but it doesn't cause any problems and the device still goes to sleep when you close the lid. The biggest problem is that the screen doesn't sit uniformly flush against the display. Where there is a slightly larger gap between the actual display and the screen, the resolution is massively impacted, so the bottom left of the screen in my case is barely readable. The glossy side creates so much glare it's unusable unless you're in an environment with no light. I'm going to persevere with it for a few days, but I suspect I'll be returning as for the price I can't accept the faults with this product.

A really good privacy filter that actually stays when the Mac is closed! Having a privacy filter that allows the laptop lid to be closed is quite rare. Had earlier tried an off-brand filter but it always was bulky such that Mac couldn't go to sleep mood, forcing either to handle the filter separately or risk the mac being on while you throw it in bag. This filter doesn't require any special fitting, the magnets make it snug fit on the mac screen while keeping the camera uncovered if you need to have the call. The viewing angle is also perfect, even if you are sitting in crowded train or plan, its hard for those in neighboring seats to check on your screen. The only potential downside of this filter is the need to clean it after almost every use. The glossy finish means that if you happen to accidentally hold it in center, then the fingerprints and dust would accumulate and be visible.

I purchased this screen cover for my 2018 15" Macbook Pro primarily to reduce screen glare, not so much for privacy. I use my Mac in my home office (where privacy isn't an issue) but I have a large window directly behind my desk which creates a lot of glare on my nice glossy MB screen. It's really hard to see what's on my screen during the daytime. Overall impressions: The Kensington MP15 Magnetic Privacy Screen does a pretty solid job both at reducing glare (when you have the matte finish facing out) and providing privacy to keep snooping eyes from picking up your bank login info. It adheres well to the screen and still allows the lid to close, though a slight gap is introduced and there is a slight reduction in the ability of the MBP's magnets to keep the lid closed. But this is a non-issue when it's on your desk or in a sleeve. The magnetic adhesion is awesome and makes installation and removal a breeze. I like that I can easily remove it when I want and it comes with a neat little protective storage sleeve. Since my main usage is for reducing glare, I primarily use the matte finish side. (The glossy side actually increases glare.) But, users who primarily want the cover for privacy and want to retain the glossy look of their screen will appreciate the glossy side. There is a noticeable reduction in screen brightness with the MP15 in place, but it's worth the reduction of glare and the screen is still bright enough. In fact, the reduction in glare means I don't need the screen quite as bright anyhow, so that's a wash in my opinion. The lid closes just fine with the screen in place and it strikes a good balance between reducing glare without reducing the screen brightness so much that it's hard to see. Pic 16: Slight gap when the MBP lid is closed with the MP15 in place, but does not interfere with sleep mode.

Very easy to install and it works quite well. The viewing angle might be too wide when your MacBook is on full brightness but if you reduce the brightness a bit you're still able to work and increase your privacy dramatically. Fits well on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)

Il prodotto si presenta di qualità e il sistema magnetico funziona piuttosto bene. L'unico imprevisto è che la chiusura del computer con la pellicola applicata non funziona più bene, però insieme alla protezione nella scatola si trova una custodia per il trasporto ed un panno per pulire il monitor.
