The item is a shelf - to be accurate two shelves - that fit into GeekPi's server cabinet range T0, T1 and T2. It's easy to fit - took me less than two minutes with a T0 cabinet.

Works really well to mount additional kit in the rack. Good price.

I needed a shelf to put some smart home hubs into a 10 inch rack. This ticks the boxes. It even has holes to allow you to cable tie or mount hubs onto the shelf. Installation was easy, needed to use my own hardware as the included hardware is specific for the GeekPi rack. I like that it is 0.5U so doesn't take up much space. I have no idea what the two extra bits are for, they are 1U spaced and you could use to support the shelf with a bit of tinkering, but really no idea of their use.

Decent quality cut, comes with nuts and bolts as expected and rack ears. This is a very nice quality anodized aluminium design. It's a simple and basic tray very useful for deploying consumer routers and also mounting fans to cool consumer devices, has its a cheese grater cutout design.

Decent rack shelf - measures 9.84 inches across - fits a 10" cabinet perfectly. Reasonably lightweight with a good quality black finish. Solid performer.

Misleading size. It’s not a standard rack mount size at all. They’re tiny.

In essence, this 0.5U metal rack shelf enables equipment which is too small for rack mounting or not equipped with the fixing mounts, to sit happily amongst those devices that can and not succumb to overheating. It comes complete with all necessary fixings for cantilever mounting (Ie fixed at one end only) and will do a simple job well but the price is more worthy of a larger 1U shelf!

Ich nutze die GeeekPi RackMate 1U Ablage jetzt seit ein paar Wochen in einem kleinen Heimrack im Arbeitszimmer. Gedacht ist sie bei mir für einen Mini-PC, ein externes Netzteil und etwas Kleinkram, nichts Wildes. Dafür ist sie grundsätzlich auch gemacht, das merkt man recht schnell. Verarbeitung ★★★★☆ Das Blech ist sauber lackiert, die Kanten sind ordentlich entgratet und nichts schneidet oder fühlt sich billig an. Die Lochung für die Belüftung ist gleichmäßig und sinnvoll platziert. Für den Preis wirkt das alles stabil genug, auch wenn man sofort merkt, dass es keine massive Profischiene ist. Für leichte Geräte passt das, für schwere Technik eher nicht. Montage ★★★★☆ Die Montage im 19-Zoll-Rack war unkompliziert. Schrauben rein, ausrichten, fertig. Durch die seitlichen Haltewinkel sitzt die Ablage gerade und wackelt nicht. Wer schon mal Rackzubehör montiert hat, wird hier keine Überraschungen erleben. Stabilität im Alltag ★★★☆☆ Für Mini-PCs, Switches ohne Rackohren oder kleine Router ist die Ablage absolut ausreichend. Sobald man aber anfängt, schwerere Geräte oder viel Gewicht mittig abzustellen, merkt man eine leichte Durchbiegung. Das ist kein Defekt, sondern einfach eine Frage der Materialstärke. Für Server oder schwere Netzteile würde ich sie nicht empfehlen. Belüftung und Praxis ★★★★☆ Die Lüftungsschlitze erfüllen ihren Zweck. Geräte darunter werden nicht unnötig warm, zumindest bei mir im Dauerbetrieb. Staub sammelt sich natürlich etwas schneller als auf geschlossenen Böden, das sollte man einplanen und ab und zu sauber machen. Preis-Leistung ★★★★☆ Im Vergleich zu deutlich teureren Rackablagen aus dickerem Stahl ist diese hier klar einfacher gebaut, kostet aber auch deutlich weniger. Für meinen Anwendungsfall passt das Verhältnis. Wer nur eine Ablage für leichte Technik sucht, bekommt hier eine faire Lösung. Gesamtbewertung: 4,0 von 5 Sternen Würde ich es wieder kaufen: ja, wenn es um leichte Geräte im Heim- oder Bürorack geht. Für schwere Hardware oder professionelle Serverracks würde ich aber zu einer stabileren Alternative greifen.

Este estante de 1 unidad para armarios pequeños de 10" encaja perfectamente y resulta muy práctico. Me parece una gran idea incluir las orejas accesorias para fijarlo también en la parte trasera del armario, especialmente si debe soportar un peso considerable. Los acabados son excelentes, aunque el uso prolongado será el verdadero test de calidad.
