Perfect Fit and Excellent Quality – Great Upgrade for KLR650!
The Tusk Folding Shift Lever +10mm is a fantastic upgrade for Kawasaki KLR650 owners. Although listed for 1987–2018 models, it fits perfectly on my 2024 KLR650 Adventure, so the description is accurate. The build quality is excellent—solid construction with great knurling on the tip for secure shifting. The weight feels just right, and the lever looks great even after heavy use. I’ve put about 15,000 miles on it, and it’s still going strong with no signs of wear. For the price, this is a very reasonable option from a reputable brand. If you want a durable, well-designed shift lever that performs flawlessly, this is the one to get. Highly recommended! Update: After 1 year rusting amd started slipping even when garage kept. Reached out for resolution will update if any response is provided. Pros: Fits perfectly on newer KLR650 models Excellent build quality and finish Great knurling for grip Reasonable cost Durable (15k miles and still looks great) Trusted brand Cons: None so far

Must have for 2nd gen klr650
Perfect gearshifter if I’ve ever seen one for my klr. $20, easy install making the old one look and feel completely obsolete. This one has very smooth handling

Great replacement especially if you have bigger feet
This replaced a bent and twisted stock shift lever. Looks alot better and functions just as well. I no longer have to lift my whole leg up to shift.

Nice affordable upgrade to stock KLR 650 shifter
Got this for my 2006 KLR 650. The longer length help to get toes under the shifter easier. It is a bit wider so I had to adjust my foot a bit when shifting to avoid being on the pivot area which is kind of uncomfortable. Once I got used to that, it is just fine! As an added bonus, I probably lost about a pound of weight over the heavy steel stock shifter.

Just look at it there's nothing not to like and it works.
This really improves the looks of my 2009 Kawasaki KLR, the old shifter had been bent and welded and just was plain ugly the new Tusk shifter is gorgeous!! it looks like it should've been standard equipment, improved gear selection. I like it!
