These magnets worked great for my application which was to hold up a very light, thin plastic blackout sheet for my bedroom window. I would recommend these for light duty needs. They use two sided tape so you need a flat surface to mount them on. They may not work well on a textured or knock down style wall.

What a perfect little solution to reduce drafts from window because curtains that don't close tightly against the wall. No heat leaks, even with 20 below zero temperature in Montana.

The adhesive isn’t great. You have to reinforce it with some kind of glue

These are strong compared to the backing plate that only has two magnets. In fact, I used one of these on my name badge that only had two magnets. Now the name badge doesn’t fall off. Also used on the front door curtain and it quickly grabs it to alignment when we close it. Works well.

If you have blackout curtains, it feels like there's virtually no chance these would work for you. I was trying to put them on even a moderate thickness curtain and they were super weak. I was truly disappointed. Just holding them on either side of the curtain they barely had any magnetic attraction.I can't speak to how well they stick to the wall, becaus eI didn't even bother peeling the tape off the back and mounting them when I saw the poor strength. I just put in for a return and will be looking for other options.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The magnets or ok. They do hold my blinds in place; however, if the wind blows the magnets don’t hold. They do help keeping excess light in the room. If they were larger and thicker, they would most likely hold in place.

Not strong enough to keep curtain panels together

I purchased these to keep up curtains on shelves in my classroom. They work really well and are holding up well. The curtains stay in place and the kids are not bothering them.
