a quality calcium --and you do NOT have to swallow it whole
it's hard to find calcium supplements that are USP verified. (supplements are not overseen by the government, and can have any amount of just about anything in them, fyi). and it's equally hard to find ones you can swallow comfortably. i knew that liquid calcium exists from my hospital experience, so you can easily make your own: split it in half with a pill cutter, put in small glass with 1-2 tablespoons of water, stir, and walk away. 10 minutes later, stir it some more and swallow. its totally tasteless, and slides right down. if any clumps are left. add a bit more water and stir the rest. don't waste your money and your calories on 'gummies' and chewables.
