I had one window that I can’t clean from the outside. This tool helped 100%. It’s a little skewed to use, since the magnets are super powerful. You can definitely hurt a finger if not following precautions.

What a dangerous and useless product. It almost took my fingers off with the incredibly strong magnets on 2-3 occasions and when I finally was able to use it on a window by carefully and slowly gliding the two half together so as not to break the window, it still made a jittery track across the outer window and left streaks everywhere. The tiny triangles of sponge can't possibly clean windows with any efficacy. Thankfully, it wasn't expensive, but it wasn't worth it either.

I think the people that are leaving bad reviews are 1) not giving it enough time to learn how to use it and getting frustrated before you even learn how to use it. 2) buying ones that are to powerful for thin windows. I bought the highest power one because I have two thick glasses with gas in between for what ever the technology it. I don't know. But there is a goot 1/2 to 1 inch gap between the two glasses in my window. There is that issue of the magnet being very strong in your hands but you leave how to keep them apart and pay attention. The first window I did it was a shitty job. Streaks every where, marks. The outside part was falling down all the time. But I didn't give up. I did my second window and change the technique of how I was moving the device. Did a MUCH better job. By the 3rd window it was working like a breeze. I can't be fast with it like you see in some videos, but if you just go a little lower and work from you way up down with the devices pointy direction facing going either to the left or right......then when you get to the end of that side you slowly turn it around giving enough room for the device not to hit the frame of your window and then with the pointed side not going in the opposite direction of what you just did, repeating yourself till you make your way down to the bottom. It works well. Go right to left, turn it down 2 inch and go right, turn it around go left and so forth. It's not the perfect solution but it works with the right technique and patience. And yes it will slip off a few times. Big deal!!! I pay 350$ for just 8 windows in our apt to be clean professionally and this device thats 30-40$ did pretty much the same job after I took a long breath and kept trying to learn how to make it easier. I'll be keeping mine. Invest in a profession window cleaning liquid!!! it will make a huge difference as well.

Good product

I got this one because it is for double glassed windows ones with two sheets of glass, Instead of working and sliding around it actually slid both pieces of glass out the window frame and now it's jacked up. The magnet is not for basic windows its so strong its for like car wind shields or something thick like that.

So, you do have to handle this with care. The magnets are intense, and it is difficult to pull the pieces apart. And like many have reviewed, your hand can get caught in there, and it is painful. But, once you get the hang of how this works, it is really great. I’m so glad I bought it. I just have to practice getting a rhythm down and going in the S formation when cleaning the windows. And making sure both sides of the windows, have plenty of cleaning solution so that it slides easier.

I bought this product for my double glass veins, but it was a disappointment.To begin with, the color does not match, the ad showed a purple one, but I got a red one, initially I thought it was just a color change, but when I tried to use it, it was practically impossible. Luckily it has a rope so that it does not fall into the void, because otherwise it would be lost in the first pass.The question that remains is whether what I received is what I really bought or received something else. If it is what you wanted to buy, I do not recommend your purchase. The magnet is strong enough to be used on single pane windows
