Reviewing this as a gun cabinet, not a safe. In the pictures the door looks much like a heavy safe door, but it's not. The "box" of the cabinet is sheet metal, as is the door. Arrived in good shape after quick shipping. Instructions are good and 4 lag bolts are included for securing the safe to the floor or wall. However, bear in mind the bolts go through sheet metal that can be defeated by just a moderate amount of force. The programmable lock works fine. The locking bolts on the door also work fine, but again, use the sheet metal edge of the door opening to lock against. A crowbar could be used to defeat the door in just a few minutes. Because the sheet metal tends to "clang" when disturbed, I plan to line mine with peel and stick carpet tiles to keep the sound down. Something to think about if you will be using this to quickly and quietly access a firearm for home defense. This cabinet is good for child safety. It will keep young, curious hands off your firearms, but even an amateur burglar could gain access given some time and tools. No fire protection, either. So, as gun cabinets go, this is a good one for its price, but it's not a safe.

I love it when I buy something on Amazon, and when it arrives it is more of better than I expected. Based on some reviews, I was surprised by how heavy and solid the safe feels. The door closes with authority and the five locking bolts (rop, bottom, and three on the side) extend about an inch into the frame when engaged. There is plenty of room for five long guns inside, and for a significant supply of ammunition and magazines stacked at the bottom. The small locking interior safe is large enough for several handguns, or for other valuables. I had some trouble programming the safe lock, but Ben at customer service for Quicktec was amazing - he responded several times to my emails within minutes, and even forwarded short videos to help me - I'm not very techy. I am very happy with my purchase.

Works great, keypad and included key options are very nice. Does not really have as much space as it says unless you were storing rifles without optics, but it can fit a few in there comfortably.

Ok let's get something out of the way here. This is not a heavy duty safe. It is not designed to be. If that is what you are looking for, you will need to spend a lot more. That was not what I was looking for. I needed a safe that would keep my kids away from my long guns, while still allowing me to get to them quickly in an emergency. This fits the bill. It is about 90lbs, which took me some time to get it to my second floor master bedroom. I was very impressed with the packing of this thing. There was foam on all sides, thick cardboard protecting the edges, and plastic protecting the corners. There was no damage at all, even though I heard FedEx drop it from the truck. So nice of them. The combination is easy to program. First you need to pop out the plastic cover to reveal the key hole, and open it with the key. Once open you can hit the reset button along the inside edge of the door, and punch in your code. That is it. A couple of things you may want to add, as some other reviewers noted, is motion sensor led lights. If not it is pretty dark in there. Also magnets under the inside box will allow you to stick some handguns there. One thing to note is that with coviid-19, shipping could take longer. In addition, FedEx tracking is messed up so you may see tracking information that is not updated. I had quite a few conversations with the seller trying to figure out if my safe had really shipped and when I could expect it. They were very responsive and worked to get everything resolved.

For what you’re paying for, it’s a no brainer. The case works. I have kids and my main goal was to keep access away from them. I do plan on getting a proper security gun safe down the line but for now, this safe works. I’m giving them 5 stars although the case came in damaged with no fault of their own. There was a small dent into top assuming that the box was thrown around during delivery. Delivering large packages will come with its increase changes of it being damaged. After contacting the company about the damage, it only took less than a day to resolve the issue. Rather than going through the hassle packaging it back into the box (that I cut all up in pieces to open), they offered me a generous partial refund. If you’re in the market to get something reasonably priced, i would definitely recommend this safe.

As others have pointed out, this won't keep a determined thief from getting your firearms. It's made a sheet metal... However it is perfectly adequate for keeping my guns out of the hands of my kids, and that's the main reason I bought it. Cabinet (Won't call it a safe) was delivered yesterday, and there was some relatively significant damage to the box, but it's well packaged with dense foam on all 6 sides, and corner reinforcement on all 6 corners, and 12 edges so there was no damage to the contents. Contrary to the product description "with Pistol Lockbox" there is no interior lock box, but I was unsurprised by that from looking at the product images. Also "Exterior Dimensions: 14”(W) x 13.8”(D) x 57”(H)." is incorrect. The cabinet is 14 inches wide, and 57 inches tall, but it's only 12 inches deep (Exterior). This was a bigger deal, as I was looking for a cabinet with the advertised depth. This is the biggest downcheck for me. As others have pointed out, there is no lining of any sort. The interior is painted sheet metal, and any contact with the walls makes it practically ring like a bell. I'm taking the advice of one of the other reviewers and lining the inside with adhesive carpet squares to both deaden sound and better protect the guns. The bottom of the case is also entirely unpadded. I corrected this my gluing the supplied piece of grey felt cut to fit the bottom of the case to a piece of the dense foam used to protect it during shipment and that serves well to keep the butts of the weapons off the floor. All in all, it will serve my purpose, but it is what it is... a cheap metal locking cabinet that will keep your weapons away from people that shouldn't have them and aren't likely to go to extreme means to get their hands on them. The inaccurate depth advertised is my biggest problem with it.

Avoid this safe and spend the extra money for something better. I was on a budget and should have known what I was going to get. The only good thing I have to say is the speediness of the delivery. Upon this safe arriving at my door through FedEx which I hate with a passion as they always mishandled freight my package was damaged upon arrival. I looked passed this as majority of the time the product is secured well inside. Unfortunately I was wrong as the metal hinge/bracket that holds the shelving in place is broken off and without welding tools cannot be fixed. So that leaves me with shelves I can't adjust for my needs. My biggest issue and the safety issue I have is the horrible keypad they have installed on this safe. It does not work as intended one bit. You get a standard security code as a default option to test the keypad and then instructions that are included to reset 2 passwords. I have spent the better part of an hour trying to reset either password and have failed miserably. Tried to get ahold of customer support through their provided emails but I have gotten errors for both saying they don't exist. This safe is best avoided and I suggest looking elsewhere. I plan on returning this here soon for a full refund.

This honestly exceeded my expectations. It shipped to me in rhode Island from california(really couldn't have gone farther across the country) and arrived without a scratch. It was tightly packed with foam all the way around and plastic corners for added protection. Everything functions the way it should. Despite the fact I have not bolted it down yet, the door is not too heavy where it would tumble over when opening as I've seen other reviews state. I was able to set my own lock code and switch to silent mode on first attempt. I did add lights and a thicker piece of foam to the inside bottom. No this is not a bonafide safe, but it will keep the goofballs away from your guns. It can fit an ar15 with scope without turning sideways and a 50" Remington 870 wingmaster still has clearance even with added thicker foam on bottom.
