I had a Motorola device for my last car with Android, this was excellent quality and gives a great option to compare the 2 units The cost; Although I paid much more for the unit than it is now - it is very well priced. The "top" end branded items are about £90+ Build/quality; It is a sturdy and small unit about 6cm x 6cm x 1cm. Small enough to be hidden from sight. It comes with 2 cables which also seem decent quality. Performance; Rock solid, never had an issue with it booting/connecting. It takes a few seconds to connect, usually by the time you get in, turn on car and get ready to drive - it will be ready for you. Setup; Its a typical Bluetooth process, easy 2 min job! I advise is to put into a location that is out of the way using some double sided foam tape (came with some for me), no need to take in/out of car each time. The product arrived promptly and installation in my car was quick and effortless, thanks to the accompanying well-written instructions and link to an installation video. The adhesive pad supplied with the device enabled unobtrusive installation behind my vehicle’s media display. The device is small and appears to be well-designed. Installation was successful on first attempt and the device has worked perfectly from the outset. The product connects to my vehicle’s CarPlay successfully and quickly on vehicle startup each time. Connection between the device and CarPlay on my Apple IPhone is stable and the quality of music played through Spotify is excellent. Phone calls made and received through the device are high quality, again with a stable connection. I am very pleased with the device and the convenience of a stable, high quality wireless connection.

Bought this in July and have been using it for about 8 weeks. Simple and easy to install and it just works. No mucking around when I get in the car. Out my phone in the charging pad and drive off. About 2 minutes later everything connects and carplay starts where it left off the last time. It's nice and small and sits in the arm rest cubby hole. Out of sight of prying eyes. Fast connection and no noticeable lag. Quality seems good but it really is a case of connect it up and forget about it. Would recommend.

Great item once I’d got past teething problems. Wouldn’t work with my 2015 Tiguan, despite meeting spec. Tried everything in instructions to no avail. Plugged into old GoPro cable I had been using for wired CarPlay (rather than one supplied with adapter) and it sprung to life! Instant, responsive and no further issues. Father also bought one at same time and had same issue, no connectivity, with same fix of using another spare GoPro cable. Takeaway message - if it won’t connect try another USB cable. Otherwise really good bit of kit.

Wireless Carplay adaptor 2024 Model. Well wow is all I can say about this product. It does exactly what it says on the box, it converts your Apple Carplay wired to wireless. This is what the manufacturers are doing to the better class of cars, they have eventually caught up. The Mavlou-UK product is excellent. No hassle connection to carplay very little lag almost instant connection times. Follow the instructions to the letter. At first time boot up the blue tooth did not connect. I removed it from the screen rebooted it, the unit identified immediately. At start up the logo appears on your screen, it auto connects to the last wireless connection, so that speeds up the connection times to seconds. Carplay auto starts then and you are good to go. So far I have used this on several occasions, each time Carplay connects effortless with my Apple iphone 11. Instructions are simple and if you follow them, you will have no difficulty in connecting up the Wireless Carplay Adaptor. I can thoroughly recommend this product and I have pointed friends and family towards it. Buy one for yourself. Sept 5th update. I have now been using this unit every day for over 5 weeks. I am so impressed with it. The speed on connection is hardly perceivable, its almost instant now, it feels part of the vehicle. It IS part of the vehicle. My friends BMW connects fast, in his, but Mavlou beats it. I have completed some long journeys and requested connection on music, weather on my own apps, map functions the whole lot, it does it still effortlessly. I will report again after 12 months use, I suspect that my views would not have changed. I can only recommend you buy one and see for yourself, if you want one this Mavlou -UK is the one for you, the best so far. DB ps. I’ve used a different manufacturer’s device in my car for a few years and my wife recently decided she wanted a wireless connection for CarPlay too. My first thought was to get one like mine but after looking around I settled for this which was 1/3 the price. It has turned out to be the perfect choice. Much smaller than the one in my car and as you can see in the photo it takes up virtually no room once attached withy the supplied double sided tape. As to performance it is exactly as expected. Setup was simple and in use it takes a little longer to connect to CarPlay compared to a wired connection but only by about 20 seconds and there is a slight delay between touching screen and the action but no different to the previous device I’ve used and possibly a little faster.

My 2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrak came with wired CarPlay only which was great but inconvenient. After a couple of failed attempts with other manufacturers I bought this unit and was so please that it worked straight out of the box. Easy set up, quick integration, powerful connection, small footprint and pleasing to look at this unit ticks all the boxes for me so deserves its 5 star review. For the price you appear to get a lot of technology for your money so I would suggest that it's worth a try for hands free CarPlay connection and use.
