using no heat as recommended in the manual
Just what you would expect form Hornady, outstanding. I have been reloading since the mid 1970's, using the corncob or walnut tumbling media with the polish added. Never again. I bought this along with the Hornady One Shot Case cleaner and one shot gun parts cleaner. First, I can get over 300 223/5.56 cases in the basket. I fill it to the line with the mixed solution and, using no heat as recommended in the manual, turn it on for 30 minutes de-gassing the solution, grab a cup if coffee and it is done!. Anyone that shoots an AR15 gas impingement system knows how dirty the cases can get. They come out of the Hornady Sonic Cleaner clean inside and out and ready for loading.I follow the instructions for use, using distilled water to mix the solution. One important note. Do not de-cap and resize your brass before you clean them! Yes if you do the Cleaner will get the primer pockets clean. However, to do that you are running a dirty case through your die. Do you really want to do that? After they have gone through the cleaning process I put them in the kitchen sink and rinse them thoroughly. Then I roll them in an absorbent towel to remove the excess. I put them in a food dehydrator for about 30 minutes and voila! They are dry inside and out.Another important step is to use Hornady Dry Shot Case Lubricant. Forget the grease. It is a mess and eventually will clog your dye. A light spray with the Dry Lube, wait a minute or two and start resizing your cases. Now you can clean the primer pocket.I use the Sonic cleaner with the Parts Cleaner to clean the bolts in all my rifles ever my Nickle Boron AR bolt. With this process I use the pre heat and de-gassing and after 30 minutes, the parts are clean. I do use a B.O.N.E tool for the bolt before it goes into the solution.Another outstanding product from the leader in the field, Hornady

Great Tumbler for the money.
Good tumbler, did a great job with corn cob media and dupont teflon car wax, first one came with a stripped out bolt that held the bowl so be careful threading it in, i advise getting some real 1/4" all thread for it, its pretty quiet, it is pretty fast 1 hour and cases are ready to reload, does about 500 9mm at once of 300 45acp, i even did 25 50bmg brass and it worked pretty well, the sifter is awesome i use it on top of the machine with the lid on top of the sifter i turn on the machine and slightly push down on the sifter and it vibrates all the media out of the cases so i dont have a big mess.

Produces clean, shiny brass
This tumbler works great! Right out of the box I filled it with Hornady media and tumbled the 500 rounds of brass I have been saving for a couple years. I did not use any added brass polish but my brass all came out of the media already clean and shiny! It is not extrememly loud, and it holds a fair amount of media and brass. At one point I had about 100 rounds of 300 win mag in there. That's probably more than you should attempt to put in it, but after about two hours they were cleaned up just fine.

GUN BUILDER DAVE
I needed a way to remove the carbon on my BCG from my AR’s multi caliber without spending more time cleaning than shooting. This is perfect, you will have to run a cycle scrape a bit then run another cycle if you’ve never used this. Once you get the heavy CARBON building up off it’s just 1 cycle after shooting. I’m so mad at myself for not getting one of these years ago. NO MORE SCRAPING, SOAKING, SCRAPING, SOAKING, AND BEING UPSET THAT I CAN’T GET IT ALL OFF AND SAYING IT’S GOOD ENEOUGH for this guy. LOL. I FREAKING LOVE THIS!!!!!

Just what I needed
What I like most is the bowl and the mounting hardware are separate, unlike other brands where it's a single unit, prone to cracking. As for the noise, it's a tumbler. You are going to hear it working. Holds plenty of cases for my use and it stays put! Wish it was my first tumbler, would have saved money in the long run. It just works like it's suppose too.

So much easier and more thorough then case tumbling
Great product so much simpler for cleaning brass then tumbling would highly recommend

Not bad, could be bigger
It does kinda work. I run my brass through this first, than i run it through the vibrating bowl for 3 hours cleans the brass up very nicely. I wish it was way bigger.

Great! But also terrible! *READ*
This works great! I have one major concern though. December 2023 I bought one of these and it still works and when I run it I run it about 2-3 hours but recently I bought a second one and the second load of brass I put to be cleaned it stopped working! I honestly don’t know why I never overload it, but I probably just got a defective one but I 100% recommend this!
