Great Product!
I would recommend this product to anyone. The material is top notch and very sturdy as well. It came with clear cut instructions for installation. The look of the seat works perfect in my Jeep. I have had people ask if it was customized and I give the credit to this company! You will get very pleased with the end result. It fits great and adds comfort and is the right height for my Jeep! So glad I found seat after months of searching.

Made it fit on my 1991 Suzuki Samurai
I had to drill three holes because it didn’t align perfect to my Suzuki's original seat holes. So it’s kind of not in the middle but close. Not bad for a seat that wasn’t made for a Suzuki Samurai. Took a little work to work it in, but at the end of the day it was worth every cent!!!

the seat is heavy enough and stable enough that it generally does not bounce unless I hit something pretty hard, but honestly
Bought this for my '88 Wrangler. It fits well and is functional. I would have given it five stars except the latch that keeps the seat from flipping up, is not compatible with my Jeep. I would need to weld the hook plate to the floor if I wanted to use it. That being said, the seat is heavy enough and stable enough that it generally does not bounce unless I hit something pretty hard, but honestly, I don't notice it while I'm bouncing around in the front seat. It's worth the money, but just realize the latch and hook may not work for your Jeep.

Gorgeous seats, easy install
This is a very nice quality seat. The install was about as easy as it can be in a jeep, and it functions perfectly. The headrests are adjustable and the seat is very comfortable. The only thing that i noticed is that it looks black in the picture and its actually more of a charcoal grayish. Other then that pleased with the price and the quality.

Brilliant.
Bought a 95 Wrangler Sahara and, while it was in great shape with low miles, the back seat had been removed years ago and somehow misplaced. This seat is well designed, rugged, easy to install, and more comfortable than I would expect. I mean, it is a tiny little seat in the back of a Jeep, one wouldn't expect this level of comfort. The Sahara has the Bestop soft top already, so ordering this in the matching color was brilliant. I don't know how old the top is, but it shows minor wear, yet the color match is spot on. I'm happy to be back on the road in a Wrangler, and Bestop has just earned me as a lifelong customer.

NOT FOR MY CJ7!
I have to tell you I had a horrible experience with this product. I don’t normally write a bunch of reviews, but this one was just so in my face I had to try and help others out.I bought the trail max II rear seat to match the front seats that I have on order too. I haven’t received the front seats yet. Hopefully this isn’t a repeat. So, I pull out my original 1985 CJ7 rear seat that was a fold and tumble too. Bolts were a bugger to get out, but eventually made it. I made sure I was following the 1985 and older portion of the instructions. The install instructions are not written by someone who has actually done this install. Got the front brackets on and mounted with some modifications to your instructions. Next I went to install the back latch bracket. First, the bracket interfered a little bit with my seat belt mount, but it would have probably been ok. However, the bigger issue was underneath the Jeep. Since I had spent a bunch of time underneath it already working on the front bolts I knew the gas tank was right about where they wanted me to drill some holes. So, I went under the Jeep before I started punching holes in my tub. The latch is about 13.5-14 inches from the rear bolt of the front brackets. Well my gas tank is about 8 inches from that rear bracket. So unless I dropped the gas tank there is no way to actually secure the bracket to the tub.Dropping a gas tank is well above what I was willing to take on for the swap out. Extremely disappointed since I did want the rear seat to match my front seats. But who knows, the front ones will probably have issues too. And I expect the instructions to be written by some technical writer who has never seen the underside of a Jeep.Hopefully this feedback will help others from wasting 2 hours on this product. Definitely not for a 1985 CJ7.

Fits 1985 CJ-7
Purchased from Amazon, and it arrived within 5 days. No delays due to size. Installed it on my 1985 CJ-7, fit with hardly any issues. All holes lined up with the factory holes in the floorboard for the original seat. Rear folding latch (back center) was off by 1/4”-1/2”, but instead of drilling a new hole in the Jeep floorboard, like the directions said, I just bored the hole in the latch plate a bit, and that was the ONLY modification needed to install it with original factory rear seat holes. It does take 2 people to install. It’s light enough to put in yourself, but at some point you have to have someone underneath the Jeep applying the washer/nut while someone else is driving the bolt from above. Otherwise I did everything by myself, easily.Great product, vinyl looks amazing. I’ve had my Jeep for 20 years, and I’m very picky about what goes on/in her… I’d buy this bench seat again in a heartbeat. Looks great.
