Nice watch
It's a lovely watch but unfortunately the face was just too large for my wife's wrist. Returning it was easy and I've been informed that the refund will be processed shortly

Simply amazing.
So I’ve had this watch a week now and whilst a little premature to review an automatic watch I’m just really happy with it. It’s a nice size and weight, not too showy but really feels good to hold. I set the time and date with no issues. For the first day it seemed to lose a few seconds but the next day it normalised and since then for the last 5 days it hasn’t lost a second. I’ve had a few automatics in the past and losing or gaining a few seconds a day is normal so I’m extremely happy to have something so accurate out the box. I changed the strap which was a bit of faff but I didn’t have the correct tools. I was considering watches 5x the value but settled on this and I’m so glad I did as it outperforms and undercuts others.

A great-looking comfortable watch
The watch look better in real life versus the product pictures. The dial is an attractive matt Sunray silver, with silver lumed applied markers & silver lumed hands. The overall effect is of a watch beyond it's price point. The watch keeps time well, but needs to be shaken daily for a minute to augment the automatic winding from daily wear. The only negative point is the supplied low-quality 20mm metal bracelet - I replaced it with a black leather strap & the watch looks much better now.

Dont buy this.
1st I have to say it is a lovely looking watch, not thick and clumsy in my opinion, I always admire its appearance but my wife says the face is a little too small.Delivery in good time. Watch appeared excellent.Had to remove 5 links as band is quite large. Hope it keeps good time. Loss of time is not such a problem as automatics do lose some time....its the failure of dates that is my problem here.Box was a little dated. I expected a nicer quality package for a seiko watch at £100.00.Watch day has now stopped turning over after 10 months use. I will see how the company deals with the fault and update this review.Always a risk using an overseas non-store supplier? Is it worth the risk.Update. Returned the watch which was repaired and came with a genuine Seiko repair docket. So i believe this is a genuine product. Seller was very helpful if slow to send back.Looks nice. Hope it continues working although I think id go for a solar watch nowadays as the need to constantly wear or lose power is annoying....I know it is part of the charm of a truly automatic watch but....Watch has now failed again, the date wont turn over. I am awaiting sellers response and reducing my review. The company has so far been good but the watch may not be worth the risk, buy a modern Seiko without the risk that automatics present and the costs to keep sending back.Seller did not respond. so a £100 pound watch lasted just over a year. Getting it fixed out of warranty will be almost as much as I paid. It is not worth the risk buying this watch. Get a watch from a high street seller.

Great looking watch at a bargain price
Bought this Seiko watch to replace the one I have had for 33 years, yes 33 years, and replaced the original battery after 26 years use. Unfortunately the watch stopped working, so I decided to replace it with another Seiko. I priced this model on the *High Street" and found the model from Amazon was £75 cheaper than competitors. It is a smart looking watch, which I have had for 5 weeks, and is not showing any wear whatsoever. The only downside is that the watch is losing between 5 and 6 minutes each week, hardly a complaint, and I intend to take it to a watchmaker and have it timed and adjusted accordingly.I have awarded this watch 4 stars because of the time loss, otherwise highly recommended.

Feels like a high quality watch and the mechanism looks very nice. Keeps time fairly well, loses about a minute a week.Looks great on a green nato strap, and depending on whether you use a nato or the metal bracelet it comes with you can use it with a variety of outfits. The bracelet is of good quality and easy to adjust. The luminous coating on the watch is excellent, even at 6am it is still legible, and in the early evening it is incredibly bright. The watch never runs out of energy, although I do wear it every day, but from what I've heard it recharges very quickly and has a decent power reserve. In terms of size its about the right size for my ~6.5" wrist, if you're looking for something smaller/cheaper take a look at the SNK809K2

Perfect until it stops
I’ve always had a seiko automatic watch but always second hand. Now I have a new one it’s perfect! No more batteries to worry about. And it tells me the day and date. No phone / electricity needed.Edit:After about 2 months the wretched thing seems to be losing time and stopping. Such a pity. Outside return window so have lost a lot of money. Very disappointed.

Did the job.
I bought a similar Seiko watch years ago which has served me well for maybe 30years. It started showing signs of trouble so I bought a replacement. I liked the looks, design and reliability of my previous watch so looked for as near the same as possible except that this one is automatic. No more batteries. I am very pleased with it.
