The mosquitos are crazy this year in Minnesota! They fly in swarms and it's so frustrating! Especially when we want to enjoy the deck area or the yard. I have never used coils before. I thought they looked like an interesting product. They DO help with the mosquitos, however the "area" per each coil is small. Having more than one burning is essential to keep these annoying insects at bay. The smell isn't too bad, I wouldn't recommend sitting too close- as the chemicals used are probably not the greatest for anyone's respiratory.I like them. I will continue to use them around the deck. I am not a fan of DEET either, so I hope that they stay effective over shelf life.One other thing I noticed is that a coil was rained on and still worked after drying.

I’ve been using this repellent during our backyard evenings, and they really work! Each coil lasts a long time—around 5 to 7 hours—and keeps the mosquitoes away in a good 10-foot range. I love that the pack comes with 12 coils and 6 little stands, so it’s easy to set them up wherever we’re sitting. They’ve made a big difference for us—no more constant swatting or itchy bites. Definitely keeping these stocked for the summer!

I've purchased these coils 3 times one - or more - are broken. They work great. However, you may need to find an alternative for burning the individual pieces. This is a packaging and handling/carrier issue. In my photo, I show how I opened a box and only 1 of 4 coils were completely intact.

It got to the point where we couldn’t enjoy our deck and pool patio any longer due to bugs and mosquitoes. We light two coils and place one on each end of the deck. Problem solved! These last many hours and so easy to use. They do smell strong like a campfire smoke smell, but other than that, these are a miracle. Can be set on a glass plate or we use those decorative smoke boxes that are sold separately for these. These are magic!

These coils work! They definitely repel mosquitos. The only con is they are hard to get apart without breaking a piece but can be done.

Works ok but need to use a few at a time. I bought these when my family and I went camping. We did not get bit by any mosquitoes (got demolished horse/deer flies), so it worked, but I also had four of them lit and placed around us where we were sitting. Does not repel anything else except mosquitoes. If you’re looking for something to have while going in the great outdoors, I recommend using these in addition to the citronella candles, bug lantern and bug spray.

I honestly can’t imagine there is a single human on earth that doesn’t despise Mosquitoes. A great fun and relaxing time with friends and family can quickly be derailed by these blood sucking flying assault dragons. I have honestly tried just about everything released on the market to combat Mosquitoes, some have worked “ok”, an others create more of an issue than they help. I know everyones body is different, so a persons mileage with “sprays” will vary, but for me the sprays are a no go. For some reason (doesn’t matter which brand or Deet or no Deet), any type of bug spray causes my skin to feel hot and have a burning sensation. I did have good luck with the “Thermocell” electric Mosquitoe repelent, but once you factor in the “warm up time” and the sheer cost of the refill pods, it ends up being more trouble than it’s worth and cost. So out of need to find something that provided relief from the barrage of Mosquitoes assaulting my family, I purchased these coils. Let me just say WOW!!!! I can light the end of one of these puppies, and if we are within 10 feet of it burning, I don’t end up with a single itchy bump. I’m blown away in regards to how inexpensive these are, as well as the fact one single coil can burn for nearly 8 hours. Do yourself a favor, save money and clawed at skin by purchasing these coils… You won’t regret it.

I bought this for the first time in summer of 2024 and it was the best purchase I have ever made, mosquitoes are gone. I turn it on as soon as I come out, I sit right next to it, and to me the smoke smell is actually very minimal does not bother me at all. The bundle pack I bought last year lasted me all through out summer and I still had some left over to start this mosquito season. I just received my new pack because I do not want to run out.….once im ready to go back inside if the strip didn’t completely burned out I just cut the lit up area and then I can continue to use the same strip the next day.
