A little complicated to get started but I live the game

Hard to follow
I’m 35 and struggle to follow this as it’s not clear what the next moves will be- the only indication is an arrow on a person in the bottom corner and the dancer on screen is on realtime so you can’t really get ahead! I got this for my 5 / almost 6 year old thinking it would be great to do together but neither of us can follow it so makes it all abit pointless tbh. A shame as they do have great songs on for kids and it’s very colourful but the gameplay itself isn’t the best
