Just what I needed
Went up in 45 minutes, by myself. Sets up like a camping tent. I camp maybe once every 3-5 years so I am no expert. The ropes had to be tweeked after I set it all up but that only took a few minutes. Better to set up then adjust to your needs. It's not as tight as the pictures but I really didn't expect it to be; for a few hundred bucks I wasn't expecting a steel cage. I use it with the lite flite so that has to be taken into consideration when purchasing. That said, it does not snap into the jugs machine but I rigged it to my needs with the pitching hole it comes with cut out of it. I have yet to experience a big storm but I am not worried about it. Good product for the price
The poles that hold this together are the flimsy poles you see used with pop-up tents. I don't know how they will hold up. With that said, the net is sturdy and the pitching machine ( sold separately ) worls great. When setting it up, make sure the netting isn't inside out, or you will have to flip it to attach the pitching machine. If you plan on pitching to an older kid or use it for catching practice, but two and add them together

A decent, affordable batting cage
We have had this batting cage for about a year. It has worked well and was a good deal for the price. However, after being outside in the elements for a year, we had to move so we packed it up in the box and then reassembled it at our new place. When putting it back together, the netting was so brittle it starting tearing apart in multiple places. We will probably have to buy a new net from the manufacturer, which is $100. I guess one year of of use is the life span for the netting. Perhaps the netting would have lasted longer if we hadn't moved and had to take it down and put it back together. I also wish the hole for the pitching machine was bigger. It was built to fit the heater pitching machine which is sold by the same company. It works great with this pitching machine, which clips onto the netting perfectly. But if you have a different type of pitching machine (like a mechanical spring loaded one), it won't work with this cage.

DO NOT BUY! Save your $$ and Time!!!
NOT easy to assemble. NOT sturdy. NOT durable! Horrible. Worst choice I ever made. Very disappointed in the company for making such a CHEAP system. Took 3 hours to try and get it all put together and it was flimsy, the netting was not quality netting, the poles wouldn’t withstand a 10 mile an hour wind. I took it all down, boxed it up and it will likely go in my trash because I wouldn’t even give this to my worst enemy for free - save yourself the frustration .. I hate blasting products but truly, if you buy this - set it up ASAP and that way you stand a chance to receive a refund!! Horrible, worthless and wasted our Sunday afternoon.

Not a bad product for the price
Not a bad product for the price. Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 14 year old to do T work with. By myself I was able to set the entire net up in about a hour. The directions we a bit vague but not to hard to follow. It did take some time to make all the final tension adjustments to the lines in order to keep the net taught but I expected that to be the case. By the time I was done the net stayed very firm and gave very little movement when the ball hit it. My son is super excited to have it and I am very pleased with the overall product. However, please note that you should not hammer the ground stakes directly into the ground. The rubber insert that the poles mount into cannot withstand the direct force of a hit with a hammer. You may wish to consider taking a 2 x 4 piece of wood and using that as a buffer instead. Note: The system I received was slightly different than the one shown in the pictures. The net has to be draped over the poles not hung from underneath with eyelets as shown in the pictures. Also, there are 7 eyelets in the poles for guide lines for the net but the instructions only show 4, likewise, only enough lines was provided for 4. Not sure what the other 3 were supposed to be for. I did use my own tie line to run another guide line through the top eyelets to prevent the net from possible sagging. I will let it sit for a few days to let it stretch a bit and them make some further adjustments. I anticipate adding an additional stake to the top center as added support.

Decent net but not large enough
The net was kind of a pain to set-up and even with it up correctly, it still sags a bit. The other downfall is that although 22 feet sounds large, once you have a pitching machine set up, it’s not nearly enough distance to get accurate timing with your batting. Unfortunately, we will be purchasing another one to connect them and create a more realistic batting environment. The pitching machine has to be on the slowest speed right now and my son just can’t get the timing down. So I would say for the lower cost, yes it’s a decent investment, BUT plan on going bigger if you really want to mimic real play batting and help your kid work on timing accuracy. In the long run, the 22 footer is just going to do more harm than good with your kids batting and helping them work on timing. Wait until it goes on sale to purchase. We got ours on Prime Day.
