Where Do Chicks Come From? (Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science 1)

My son and I love these books. Pictures are great!

We recently got chicks, and with the recent school closures we thought doing a homeschool unit on where chickens come from would be a good idea. This book covers a lot of info, held my kids attention ages 4, 6 & 7, had lovely illustrations, and included some really fun egg exploration activities in the back of it.

Used the book as reference. We were incubating chicks. My grandson enjoyed the book, it helped him to understand the development of the chicks.

So I really liked this book for the chick development. I would say the age range wouldBe for children older than 8.I bought this for my daughter’s kindergarten class and it’s a bit to detailed for them.

The subject was too advanced for my 3 year old granddaughters.

My four-year-old daughter was very curious about chicks hatching from eggs so we found this book and it turned out very impressive for both of us: great illustrations and very informative. We both learned a lot from this book :) We love it.

I love how accurately this book shows how life begins at conception and how the chick develops at each stage. Very educational! We’ll be reading this often through the years!

Great learning tool, very detailed

A lovely book with good pictures and simple explanations. Ideal for inquisitive young minds.

This book is a great resource for teaching kids about the life cycle of a chicken. However, I purchased it to be used as part of a music lesson that incorporates literacy.

I recommend this book to parents, teachers and children. It's very well illustrated. Simple to follow, understand and read. Good
