Easy to set up and use

Not sure why the rating for this tripod is so low. It is really sturdy, when the base it twisted tight, at the bottom. I got this after I bought the same branded articulating fine tunable laser level mount because it was really solid. They do not mate together quit right but I was able to use a cutting wheel on my Dremel tool to remove part of the rear bracing, so it would stack onto the tripods mount. I attached photos of what that looks like.

Must have for using laser level at different heights around the house. We used it to install a wooden world map in our bookshelf, and it worked great! We also used for wall paper stenciling

Everything is well-made. I like that the yellow pole is graduated in both English and metric. It works best if there is a ceiling against which the top of the pole can rest and be wedged between the floor and the ceiling. Otherwise, just walking past the pole, when supported by the tripod alone, causes the laser's gyro to reset and wobble.

Excellent value. Many options works great. Bright laser works outside on a sunny day.
