This is a very sharp cutter that gets the job done. I accidentally touched the blade and it cut skin almost immediately. The blade and handle feel sturdy. But the base is made of a light material. It is very easy to use and assemble. I dont forsee it going bad anytime soon. I cut laminated photos and it went great. My only complaint is that it is hard for me to know exactly where in my paper the blade will cut. But it is not extremely concerning.

This is a very well designed paper cutter. It takes a little practice getting used to where the cut starts but once you get that it's a perfect every time. I use it for photographs and to cut paper for projects. I spent a lot of time trying to do it by hand and wasting paper and photo paper which adds up. It's a nice size where I can just put it on the side of my art cart and it has a lock to keep the blade in place. You can basically use it for anything and you don't have to stress over if it's straight or not. I love it

I absolutely love this paper cutter. I have had many paper cutters in my life as a crafter and this one is extremely sharp. It cuts through 3 pieces of 65 lb paper very easily. It is marked at every half inch which is nice. And I love the pink color.

I bought this to cut square (90°) ends on strips of PVC Edging. The strip is probably around 5 pieces of paper thick and this cuts through it like nothing. I'm not a fan of the blade locking system as you have to bend the blade out a half inch to lock/unlock it, but hey, for $20 ya can't expect much. It's light, easy to store, and the rubber feet make for a stable cut. All in all...pretty decent.

This cutter has made my small printed books for family children so much easier to make. The ruler is beneficial and the guide is perfect for precise cutting.

This item appears to be a good quality item, but I have not used it yet. It has a safety feature so that younger people cannot get injured playing around with it so that is very comforting. I would recommend it to anyone looking for one. It appears to not be overly priced item for the money it was priced just right.

I bought this Diaphanornis guillotine paper cutter for snapshot photographs to frame and 67 lb cardstock.Quality: extremely CHEAP lightweight plastic. 2 stars off for that even for the lower price. But I come from an old generation of proud American and German craftsmanship and high quality natural materials for middle-class prices. However lightweight, this Made in China device does have a somewhat weighted base with rubber feet that do help keep the device in place on the work surface.The blade is sharp, makes clean, crisp cuts on single sheets. I don’t do multiple sheets, can’t rate that. Blade is claimed to be self-sharpening stainless steel. Too soon to verify the truth of that.The only assembly was an end piece, the handle, to the blade, supposed to be in lock position when pushing on. It was a tight fit, easily,applied with gentle tapping of a common household hammer. The lock function holding the blade safely down works nicely, but I have to wonder how long the stub of cheap plastic acting as the latch will last before breaking.The ruler and line guides in inches & cm are precise; you have to be precise in using them to size your work and align it straight. I end up having to use long craft scissors to trim off fractional excess on the borders of photos and greeting cards. Which defeats the purpose of investing in this cutting device. Getting familiarized with it and its aids and with practice, my cuts should be right on the line. And it does cut straight.The paper clamp is flimsy but holds the paper in place while cutting and keeps the fingers from losing their tips under the smooth and slick guillotine action.All in all, it performs adequately for my hobbyist needs. With care, the thin, brittle plastic might prove durable I would not recommend this paper cutter for a small business person. Look for a really heavy duty one, more costly for sure.

Works fantastic for cutting papers and labels for my small business. Works easily on regular printer paper and photo paper. Slices cleanly and can easily do 6-8 sheets of paper at a time depending on thickness.
